The Jim Flick Invitational carries on from the event that began as the TaylorMade Invitational in 1992. For the past 25 years, golf professionals, their amateur partners, and guests have been joining Championship Golf and a host of tournament sponsors to an event that is truly a celebration. The tournament was transformed in 2016, and now celebrates the legacy of Mr. Jim Flick, and helps to benefit charities in his honor. You have been invited to participate on a team by one our invited professionals. Each team consists of one professional and three amateur partners. The field is limited to 60 teams, and as the invited professional, they will have the responsibility to submit a team entry along with the deposits for the team. Please confirm your desire to participate to your professional in order to expedite the entry process. It will be a pleasure to have you join us for this special event. The following pages include tournament details, a daily program of events and exciting things planned for the week. Please don t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. From the moment you are picked up at the Los Cabos Airport (SJD), you are in the capable and experienced hands of Championship Golf, the professional staff at the Fiesta Americana, the Cabo del Sol Golf Club, and a valued group of over 20 local volunteers. Upon arrival at the Grand Fiesta Americana, you will check in at the private tournament area. Tournament programs, welcome gifts, and room keys will be waiting for you and the friendly bell staff will assist to your room. From this point, all your food, beverages, gratuities, and taxes at the Grand Fiesta Americana are included in your tournament entry. Tournament check-in begins at 12 noon. The welcome party on Tuesday night is a seaside affair. Our tournament band (The Championship All-Star Band) features entertainers from throughout the world as the week kicks off in style. Limitless libations, food, music and dancing await. The evening also features welcome presentations with specials guests, the tournament scoreboard, and an optional team buy-in opportunity
The first round begins at the Cabo del Sol Golf Club. The Ocean Course and Desert Courses are world-class courses bordering the Sea of Cortez, and a short 4-minute shuttle from the Grand Fiesta Americana. A kick-off to the week for your guests to meet others, learn about activities available in Cabo San Lucas, win prizes, and make plans for their daytime enjoyment. Enjoy the resort property and wide assortment of restaurants and cuisine. Shuttles run continuously from the Fiesta Americana to Cabo del Sol daily. Join us for a festive evening in honor of Mr. Jim Flick and his life. Tonight we present this year s Jim Flick Trophy honoree, Mr. Bob Toski. Bob was a friend and mentor of Mr. Flick, and the 1 st inductee into the PGA of America s Teachers Hall of Fame.

EARLY ARRIVAL OPTIONS Many participants choose to arrive one or two days prior to the event. This is recommended for several reasons: Play a practice round or two Avoid travel delays or difficulties Get acclimated to any time changes or fatigue due to travel Enjoy the Cabo San Lucas area at leisure prior to the event Pricing for rooms and additional golf is available on the tournament website. Championship Golf handles all of these requests directly from participants so that we may provide a full service program that includes airport transfers, taxes and gratuities in this pricing. ROOM UPGRADES Your entry includes a deluxe room at the Grand Fiesta Americana. Upgrades to an assortment of suites or the concierge area, the Grand Club section, are available via Championship Golf to enhance your experience. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico The tournament field is made up of 60 teams. Each team consists of one invited golf professional and three amateur partners. This also requires a $2,000 deposit from each amateur. Note: The professional will forward your check along with each amateur on the team, totaling $6000 to hold the team position in the field. This will include all details regarding room requests, additional accommodation, upgrade requests, non-golfer information, travel plans, and practice round requests. This entry form will be forwarded directly to Championship Golf to begin setting up the details for your entry and trip. The earlier these are received, the better your chances to gain the utmost satisfaction for any/all requests. Additional requests are always subject to availability. Each participant is required to forward final payment balances prior to July 1, 2017. Refunds are 100% refundable prior to this date.
