UPcycle materials from Hospice North Shore retail stores to demonstrate and champion sustainability. The Rules Entry Conditions 1. Duos must pay a registration fee of $100+GST and pledge to raise a minimum of $1,000 for Hospice North Shore. 2. Duos must be made of two members. 3. Duos must try hard to act sustainably (minimal printing, use of social media, collaborate with friends, whanau and workmates) in their fundraising efforts. 4. Duos must raise $1,000 for Hospice North Shore to compete in challenge day.

The North Shore, with its beautiful scenery and accessible facilities, make it the perfect trail for people to take up challenges and Front UP! Front UP challenge is a way to show the world how they too can take small steps to a more sustainable, Better NZ. Hospice North Shore gives free care to people who are dying and to their families: mainly in their own homes. It provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support that is possible thanks to the generosity of its local community. Hospice North Shore is thrilled to present an event that is filled with collaboration, inclusiveness, sustainability and most of all, living every moment!

The Event Duos of TWO people participate in the event To make sure logistics of the day run smoothly we have limited each participating team, or Duo to two people. It is also handy for best mates and excited potential participants who would struggle to find a whole team that is UP for the challenge. There are only 20 teams for this inaugural event This allows Hospice to make sure everything runs smoothly for our first Front UP challenge and that there aren t too many people at a challenge at one time! Challenge Day Friends, whanau and workmates can cheer you on by supporting your fundraising activities sharing and liking throughout your journey on Facebook and Instagram yell and scream for you at the Smales Farm start and finish line There are guidelines for Fancy Dress Dressing up is compulsory. During the briefing at Smales Farm, we will provide an ID patch with the Front UP Challenge logo which must be securely attached to each member of the duo and visible at all times. You must also wear official race ID (on a lanyard). Think about costumes that you can travel in easily. And remember you are representing Hospice!

Make your marketing personal to your team; but please show us a draft to check and sign off. There are close off dates and times for fundraising You have up until: 12pm on 27 th October 2017 to raise a minimum of $1,000 to enter Challenge Day 4pm on Friday 3 rd November 2017 to raise the most of all entered teams to be crowned the overall Front UP challenge champions Sponsorship and media You have plenty to offer private & individual sponsors exposure on your everydayhero page (with official event partners) exposure on any written material you prepare Flick what you will send out to the Hospice team for a quick check. You can include individual sponsors in your team name and cleverly into your costume. Only official ID patches and fancy dress can be worn on challenge day.
