Reason: to be able to take the IRF Worlds to a smaller venue, increase country participation, and enhance court efficiency.
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION This cup will be played in round robin groups in the first phase; the second stage will be elimination draws with Olympic format. ROUND ROBIN Played in a group format, classifying those previously designated by the Technical Director, in order to classify all to the second phase. Within these groups, all players compete against each other. The intention will be to have four players in each group. ELIMINATION DRAWS (Olympic Format) Winners will emerge from the elimination draws but also points will be awarded to certain players (see Points Awarded) that help to select the winners of the Team Tournament. In each category, the draw for the second phase will emerge from a blind selection between two draws. This selection will be held after the end of the last match of the round robin groups in the presence of at least three delegates from different countries. TEAM COMPETITION EVERY SINGLES PLAYER AND THE DOUBLES TEAM WILL EARN POINTS TO THE TEAM COMPETITION: TEAM POINTS AWARDED (without competition) FIRST PHASE: ROUND ROBIN Within the groups, points are earned that will be added to the points of the second phase in Olympic Format to determine the final score of each player, using the following criteria: First of the group: Second of the group: Third of the group: 24 points 16 points 8 points

REGISTRATION 1st Event US $200 TWO HUNDRED US DOLLARS 2nd Event US $200 TWO HUNDRED US DOLLARS Doubles Challenger US $100 (this division will be played without referees) Registration deadline is June 30, 2016. Late registration and any changes after the June 30 deadline and up to July 8 as the final date will pay a penalty of US $100 for each change. After this date, the organization will not make any changes or accept any new registrations. The registration fees must be paid in cash (USD) at the Coaches Meeting for the total number of entries as of July 15th independent of whether they play or not. Further, it is obligatory that identification documents are presented that show the nationality of players or authorization from the International Racquetball Federation. Registration of players should only be sent to: worlds2016@amafra.com.ar **Please include shirt sizes along with registration. AWARDS Medals will be awarded to the first three places in singles and doubles (two third places, no playoffs), and trophies to the first four places for teams Women, Men, and Combined. COACHES MEETING The Coaches and Delegates Meeting will be held on Friday, July 15, at 12:00 p.m. in one of the host hotel meeting rooms, to be announced. WADA MEETING The Meeting of WADA with Athletes will be held on Friday, July 15, at 17:00 p.m. in one of the host hotel meeting rooms, to be announced. This meeting is MANDATORY for all athletes.
