DISTRICT FIVE PROJECT OVERVIEW Florida s Turnpike Enterprise continues to make significant project investments in District Five. In fiscal years 2014 and 2015, current Turnpike projects total over $330 million within Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter Counties. Summary of Major Project Funding by Project Type: The table below summarizes the funding programmed for the major Turnpike projects in the Tentative Five-Year Work Program (FY 2015/2016 through FY 2019/2020) that are located in District Five. The project descriptions below this section identify and describe the major projects by county. The initial five ramps of the Turnpike/SR 417 interchange were completed as part of two earlier projects: one project was managed by the Central Florida Expressway Authority and the second project (FPN 243817-1) was managed by the Florida s Turnpike Enterprise.
