ANNOUNCEMENT X MiniEuropa 2014 WARSAW, POLAND MAY 01 04, 2014 An Interclub Competition for Bronze, Silver, Gold, Novice, Junior - Girls and Boys organized by the MUKS Euro 6 WARSAW Figure Skating Club

1. GENERAL REGULATIONS The X MINIEUROPA 2014 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2013, the ISU Special Regulations Single and Pair Skating 2013 and the relevant ISU Communications. Participation in the X MINIEUROPA 2014 is for who belong to an invited ISU Member, as per Rule 109, paragraph 1, and qualify with regard to eligibility, according to Rule 102, provided their ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 2 and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109, paragraphs 2 through 5 and ISU Communication 1420 or any update of this Communication. The number of entries will be limited to approximately 120 in total in order of application. 2. TECHNICAL DATA Place: Venue: Torwar Ice Rink Łazienkowska 6A, Warszawa, Poland (an indoor heated ice-rink with the ice surface of 60m x 30m) 3. ENTRIES 3.1 Entries of Competitors Each Club can enter unlimited number of in each category. The number of entries will be limited to approximately 120 in total. Decision to adopt in order of application. a) Entries by Name Entries by names must be made not later than April 4 th, 2014 to: Organizing Committee X MiniEuropa 2014 E-mail: euro6@euro6.pl; minieuropa@euro6.pl c) Entry fee An entry fee of 50 or 210 PLN per skater will be asked and has to be paid with the official entry by name. If the entry fee is paid during the competition (at site) it is raised by 10% (respectively 55 or 230 PLN). 4. EXPENSES, MEALS, LODGING The expenses for rooms and meals for the Team Leader, Competitors and other team officials will not be covered by the organizer and are on the account of the team. 5. MUSIC / PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT All Competitors shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on CD, in accordance with Rule 343, paragraph 1. All CD s must show the Competitor s name, the Nation and the exact running time of the music (not skating time) including any starting signal and must be submitted at the time of registration. Each program (short program, free skating) must be recorded on one track and on a separate CD. In addition competitors must provide a back-up CD for each program. With the entry forms, the Program Content Sheet must return to the Organizing Committee in time. It is mandatory that the Program Content Sheet must be filled in precisely by each skater in English using the 2

RESULTS The marking system (ISU Judging System) as described in ISU Special Regulations Single and Pair Skating, Rule 352, will be in place. 8. PRESENTATION OF THE MINIEUROPA CUP The three best- placed in each category will be announced and honored by cup of X MiniEuropa. All will be announced and awarded. 9. INSURANCE / LIABILITY In accordance with Rule 119, it is the sole responsibility of each Club participating in Events, to provide medical and accident insurance for their athletes, officials and all other members of the Member s team. Such insurance must assure full medical attendance and also the return to the home country by air transport or by other expeditious means of the ill or injured person. The MUKS Euro6 Warszawa assumes no responsibility for or liability with respect to bodily or personal injury or property damage incurred in connection incurred by Competitors and Officials. 10. CATEGORIES BRONZE born in 2005 and younger SILVER born in 2003 and younger Age requirements: Skaters born in 2005 and younger. A well balanced program for Bronze must contain: a.) There must be a maximum of 5 jump elements for Girls and Boys. There may be up to two (2) jump combinations or sequences. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps, but only two most difficult jumps will be counted. A single or double jump can be repeated but only once. If the jump is repeated more than once the entire element is treated as an additional and therefore not considered (but this element will occupy a jump element box if there still is any left) b.) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation), one of which must be a spin in one basic position without change of foot. The other spin (spin in one position or combination spin) may consist of only basic positions not used in the spin in one position without change of foot. Each spin must consist of only basic positions (sit, camel or upright). The Technical Panel will ignore any difficult variation in a spin as well as any basic position repeated in the other spin. 8 revolutions in a basic position of sit or camel will be counted as a feature only once in program. if it s a spin in one position there must be minimum four (4) revolutions and if it s a combination spin than there must be minimum six (6) revolutions. c.) There must be a maximum one (1) spiral sequence (will be counted as a Choreo Sequence) which must consist of two (2) spirals on a different foot (3 seconds each), one of which must be unsupported, fully utilizing the ice surface. The Program Components are only judged in Skating Skills Performance/Execution Choreography The Factor of the Program Component: for girls 1.7 for boys 2.0 Duration: less than 2:30 Levels explanations: For Bronze Boys and Girls, in all elements which are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 1 will be counted. Any additional features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the Technical Panel. Deduction for a fall is 0,5 points. Age requirements: Skaters born in 2003 and younger. A well balanced program for Silver must contain: a) There must be a maximum of 6 jump elements for Girls and 7 jump elements for Boys, one of which must be an Axel type jump. There may be up to two (2) jump combinations or sequences. Jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps, but only two most difficult jumps will be counted. A single or double jump can be repeated but only once. If the jump is repeated more than once the entire element is treated as an additional and therefore not considered (but this element will occupy a jump element box if there still is any left). b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation), one of which must be a spin combination (minimum 10 revolutions) and one spin with the flying entrance (minimum 6 revolutions) c) There must be a maximum one (1) step sequence 4

The Program Components are only judged in Skating Skills Performance/Execution Choreography The Factor of the Program Components: for girls 1.7 for boys 2.0 Duration: less than 3:10 for girls less than 3:40 for boys Levels explanations: For Silver Singles, in all elements, which are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 2 will be counted. Any additional features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the Technical Panel. Fall in an attempt of a double Axel or any triple jump with full rotation (not under rotated neither downgraded) will be ignored by the Technical Panel GOLD born in 2001 and younger Age requirements: Skaters born in 2001 and younger. In accordance with ISU Guidelines for Advance Novice competitions (see ISU Communication 1760), unless the following rules says otherwise. A double or triple jump can be repeated but only once (it is not necessary to be repeated in jump combination or sequence). If the jump is repeated more than once the entire element is treated as an additional and therefore not considered (but this element will occupy a jump element box if there still is any left). Fall in an attempt of a a double Axel or any triple jump with full rotation (not under rotated neither downgraded) will be ignored by the Technical Panel ADVANCED NOVICE Short Program In accordance with ISU Guidelines for Advance Novice competitions (see ISU Communication 1760). Age requirements (Rule 108, paragraph 2. new d) in International Competitions, a Novice is a Skater who has met the following requirements before July 1st preceding the event (the specific date: before July 1st, applies to all indicated dates): - has not reached the age of fifteen (15) - according to the Polish Figure Skating Association guidelines there is no minimum age JUNIOR Short Program In accordance with ISU Guidelines for Junior competitions (see ISU Communication 1760).
