Our program provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to make new friends, enjoy new activities, create works of art, and experience age-appropriate independence. (includes t-shirt) Camp is held at Mt. View School Monday through Friday June 30th-August 15th (no program on July 4th). The program is available in either AM Session (9am-12pm) or PM Session (12:30-3:30pm). Monday-Thursday July 21st-24th from 1-4pm at Page Park Pavilion. $115 Secret Agent Laboratory (6-12yrs) Develop your special agent and detective skills in this hands-on week of fun! Secret agents-in-training will work with spy gadgets and use awesome science and technology tools for forensic Crime Science Investigation (CSI). Monday-Thursday July 7th-10th from 1-4pm at Page Park Pavilion. $115 Red Hot Robots (8-12yrs) Explore the fascinating world of robotics and machines! Children will construct their own robots and gain a working knowledge of circuits, wheels, gears, and sensors. Campers will build motorized robots to take home with them. Monday-Thursday July 28th-31st from 1-4pm at Page Park Pavilion. (includes robot kit) $135

CAMPS ACTING & DANCE CAMP Performing Arts Camp (6-12yrs) Bring out your child s inner star! Specialized program for children 6-12yrs to receive professional training in acting and dance. Class is fun, intensive and high-energy. The program concludes with a performance/show for family and friends on the last day. Monday-Friday July 14th-18th from 9am-2:30pm at Bristol Central High School Auditorium. $200 Summer FUN Camp (6-13yrs) Available to Bristol youth ages 6-13. Summer camp is the perfect opportunity for youth to participate in a variety of activities, learn new skills, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime! Each week your camper will have the opportunity to participate in organized games, sports, and arts & crafts. There will be daily swimming, weekly visits to Spare Time for bowling and laser tag, as well as special field trips and entertainment. (includes t-shirt) Camp is held at Stafford School rain or shine Monday through Friday 9am-3pm June 30th-August 15th (no program on July 4th). Summer Sports Camp SPORTS CAMPS Sandlot Baseball (9-12yrs) Program includes a mix of instruction and game play. This year s program will be run by Steve Gaudet with assistance from local high school players. Camp is held at McCabe Waters Little League on June 23rd - July 3rd Monday-Thursday from 9:30-11:30am. (includes t-shirt) Youth Basketball Clinic (8-14yrs) Students will work with Coach Joe DeFillippi to improve basketball skills. Clinic includes both instruction and gameplay - grouped by age and ability. Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym July 7th-10th from 1-3pm. (includes t-shirt) Boys Basketball League (13-17yrs) Games are held on Mondays and Wednesdays June 30th- August 6th at Rockwell Park outdoor basketball court from 9:30-11:30am. Program is led by Coach Joe DeFillippi and is a way to stay active, make friends, and have a good time on the court! $35 Youth Soccer Camp (7-14yrs) Participants will learn and practice soccer skills including trapping, passing, shooting, dribbling, and goalie techniques. Half and full field matches will be held. Camp is held Monday-Thursday August 4th- August 7th from 4-6pm at Rockwell Park soccer field. (includes t-shirt) High School Soccer Camp (13-17yrs) This co-ed soccer camp is designed for youth entering 9th through 12th grade. The program will feature instruction of soccer skills and organized game play. Camp runs August 11th - August 15th from 5-7pm at Bristol Eastern High School field. (includes t-shirt) Skyhawks Soccer Camp (4-6yrs) Designed for beginner and intermediate players, this camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. Teamwork, sportsmanship, making new friends, and improved sport skills are the focus of the program. Class meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym July 28- August 1 from 5:30-7pm. Campers are asked to bring shin guards and sneakers/soccer cleats. $70 (includes t-shirt, ball, merit award) Skyhawks Basketball Camp (5-7yrs) This fun, skill-intensive program is designed with the beginning to intermediate player in mind. Our basketball staff will focus on respect, teamwork, and responsibility, starting each class with a skill of the day and progressing into drills and games. Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym July 14- July 18 from 5-7pm. $75 (includes t-shirt, ball, merit award) Skyhawks Starting New at Golf (5-8yrs) Camp focuses on building the confidence of young athletes by teaching proper technique, the fundamentals of form, swinging, putting, and body positioning. Developed by PGA professionals, SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player. All equipment is provided. Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym June 30th-July 3rd from 9am-noon. $89 (includes t-shirt, merit award) Skyhawks Flag Football Camp (7-12yrs) Camp focuses on the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning. Recommended for beginning to intermediate athletes. Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym July 7th-11th 5:30-7:30pm. The camp concludes with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills! $75 (includes t-shirt, football, merit award)

Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym. (includes t-shirt, merit award) Session 1: July 7-11 from 11:15am-12:15pm $55 Session 2: July 21-25 from 5-6pm $55 Skyhawks Mini-Hawks Camp (Soccer, Baseball & Basketball) (4-7yrs) Campers will explore balance, movement, hand/ eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Program meets at Chippens Hill Middle School Gym. Age divisions: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, & 19-25. 2014 First Niagara Family Classic Tennis Held at Page Park tennis courts on July 11th (rain date July 12th). Divisions: mother/child, father/ child, husband/wife. Ages: 10 & under, 12-13, 14-17, 18-19, 19 & over 3 on 3 Jr. Team Tennis Details coming soon at BristolRec.com (9-17yrs) Learn proper running techniques, drills to enhance running form, dynamic warm up, change of direction, plyometric training, first step quickness, flexibility and body weight strength. An excellent program for all athletes, all sports, at all ability levels. Class meets at Bristol Eastern High School track on Tuesday and Thursday evening 6:30-7:30pm. Session 1: July 8-17 Session 2: July 22-31 $55/session Golf Lessons - Youth & Adults (8yrs & up) Lessons are designed for beginners that are new to golf. Class is taught by Tom Keslow of the Connecticut School of Golf and meets Mondays July 7th-28th at Rockwell Park open field. Equipment is provided for those that need it. Youth class meets 5-6pm Adult class meets 6-7pm. $50 Youth / $60 Adult TENNIS TOURNAMENTS

RECREATION PROGRAMS Specialized Bowling (6yrs & up) Bowling program for Bristol youth and adults who are special needs. Held on Monday evenings for six weeks at Spare Time in Bristol from 6:30-8pm June 30th-August 4th. Participants are required to pre-register and bring $7.00 each week they bowl. $7/week Adult Social (18yrs & up) Social program for Bristol residents 18yrs & older who are special needs. Meets every Wednesday for six weeks July 2nd- August 6th. A welcome social will be held at the Page Park Pavilion from 6-7pm for the first week. Each week after will include exciting trips to various locations. Participants are required to pay for the field trips that have a fee. Preregistration required. Pay per week Zumba (18yrs & up) A Latin dance-based cardio workout with components of resistance/sculpting training to tone the entire body. Thurs. nights 6:30-7:30pm at the Senior Center Gym for four weeks July 10, 17, 24, 31. Aerobics $25 (18yrs & up) Classes meet Monday and Wednesday for eight weeks July 7th - August 27th 6:30-7:30pm at the Senior Center Gym. Fee is for the session or $35 if you want extra stretch from 7:30-8pm for an added wind down. Art Instruction (4-14yrs) Program meets Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thrs for six weeks June 30th- August 8th at Page Park Pavilion. An art exhibit will be held at Bristol Central High School Auditorium on Tuesday August 12th from 6-8:30pm. (must register in person) $80 Resident / $120 Non-resident (6-18yrs) A competitive swim team, Splash is available for youth ages 6-18. Practice is held weekday mornings June 30th - August 2nd. The team competes in the Central Connecticut Swim League and meets are held on weekday evenings. Requirements: 1.) Swim 1 length of pool - freestyle with rhythmic breathing 2.) Swim 1 length of pool - backstroke continuously 3.) Attend a minimum of 2 meets throughout the season + Summer pool membership LIFEGUARD TRAINING Course will feature both classroom style lectures, video and in water skill training.
