2.3. FIG Licenses: The 2017 Pan American Championships has been registered as an official FIG event therefore the licenses will be requested. The FIG Event ID: 15135, category Continental Championships. All competitors and judges are required to have a valid license issued by the FIG. 2.4. Invited Federations: Gymnasts from PAGU affiliated federations in good standing with the FIG and PAGU may participate. 2.5. Insurance: The Host Federation, the LOC and the FIG will not be held responsible for any liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation and the like. The FIG Technical Regulations foresee that all participating Federations are responsible for making their own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the members of their Delegation. The LOC will verify the insurance upon arrival of the delegation members (e.g. cover note or photocopy of the valid policy). Delegation members with insufficient insurance coverage must inform the LOC in advance. 2.6. Medical Services: Certified Athletic Trainers will be at all training and competition sessions. 2.7. Registration Fees: Entry Fee will be $50 USD per gymnast. The entry fee is non-refundable and is due on July 10, 2017. Additional delegation members will be charged a fee of $100 USD per person. 2.8. Closing Party: The Closing Party will be Sunday, October 15 th at the Plaza Hotel, Plaza ballroom A/B from 9:00pm 11:00pm. Only people who participated in the accommodation package can attend. If you would like to purchase an additional closing party ticket, you can purchase them at the registration office through Wednesday, October 11 th. The cost is $25 per person. 2.9. Accommodations: For those who booked the accommodation package with the Organizing Committee, below is the hotel information: Plaza Resort & Spa 600 North Atlantic Avenue Daytona Beach, FL 32118 Mayan Inn 103 S. 2.10. Transportation: Participating federations must pay for the travel costs of their delegation members. 2.10.1. Airport Transportation: For those participating in the accommodations package only, airport transfers from the Orlando (MCO) or Daytona Beach (DAB) airports only will be provided. Airport transportation will only be provided on the official arrival date of Tuesday, October 10 and departure date of Monday, October 16. Orlando International Airport (MCO) Arrivals: After picking up your bags at baggage claim, please proceed to the welcome booth located in Terminal B, near baggage claim 24. It will have a 2017 Pan American Championships sign. The volunteer will direct you to the transportation to the official hotels. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) Arrivals: After picking up your bags at baggage claim, please look for a greeter with a 2017 Pan American Championships sign. Local Transportation: The hotels in the accommodation packages are within walking distance to the training/competition venue so there will not be any local transportation provided. 2.11. Rules & Regulations: The event will be organized under the following FIG rules, valid in the year of the event, except for any deviation mentioned in these directives or the PAGU Technical Regulations:

Registration Office: 3.1. The Head of Delegation for each delegation must come to the Registration office in room 101A at the Ocean Center to receive accreditation. At this time, all expenses must be paid and the Head of Delegation will receive all the information concerning the Pan American Championships. All competitors and officials are required to wear the accreditations at all times. The accreditation must be shown for access to the warm-up and competition areas. The accreditation is personal, non-transferable and compulsory to control the access to training and competition. The Head of Delegation must provide the following at the Registration office: 1. Verify accommodations 2. Pay any outstanding monies owed 3. Verify the names of their delegation 4. Present the FIG License of all competitors for control of nationality and age. Competitors who do not have a license will not be allowed to compete. The fee to verify a gymnast s license with the FIG is $20 US. 5. Present passports of all the participating athletes and judges. 6. Present proof of insurance for members of their delegation. 7. Music for Rhythmic and Acrobatic athletes if you have not already submitted it electronically, your delegation must submit it at registration. Only one (1) piece of music per CD allowed. CD must be labeled with country code, athlete name and apparatus. Music files from IPods/IPads/Cell phones will not be acceptable. Your delegation will also be required to bring a CD copy of their music in the event we experience technical difficulties. 8. Confirmation of departure schedule. 9. Confirmation of flag and national anthem 10. Tariff sheets must be submitted for Acrobatic Gymnastics. 4. Competition Information: 4.1. Rhythmic: 4.1.1. Each Federation may participate with the following: 4.1.1.1. Junior and Senior Individuals 4.1.1.1.1. Maximum 4 individual gymnasts by age category: 4 Senior, with a maximum of 12 routines
4.1.1.1.2. 4 Junior, with a maximum of 12 routines 4.1.1.2. Junior and Senior Groups 4.1.1.2.1. Maximum 1 group per Federation, by age category: 4.1.1.2.2. 5+1 gymnasts in senior group 4.1.1.2.3. 5+1 gymnasts in junior group 4.1.2. The competition will consist of a qualification phase and apparatus finals phase. 4.1.3. Event format: According to PAGU Technical Regulations. 4.1.3.1.1. RG Individuals Team Competition. Maximum 12 routines for each age category. 4.1.3.1.2. All Around Competition: Individuals and Group 4.1.3.1.3. Finals per apparatus Competition: Individuals and Group 4.1.4. Apparatus Control for Rhythmic will take place during official training on Thursday, October 12 th. Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior: Senior: 13-15 years old Minimum 16 years old Individual: Hoop, Ball, Clubs, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, Ribbon Ribbon Group: 5 Rope / 5 Clubs 5 Hoops/ 3 balls, 2 ropes 4.2. Acrobatic: 4.2.1. Qualifications and Finals in all categories. 4.2.2. Size measurements will be done after each podium training session on Thursday, Oct. 12 th. 4.2.3. Qualifications (Age Group 1, Age Group 2, Junior & Senior): 1 Balance + 1 Dynamic exercise. 4.2.4. Finals: top six or top eight or top twelve of qualifications, depending on the amount of pairs/groups per category: (1 to 8 P/G 6 finalistsg 9 to 16 P/G 8 finalistsg 16 to 20 P/G 10 finalists, if more than 20 12 finalists) Not more than 2 per country in the final. 4.2.4.1. Age Group 1 Balance or Dynamic in accordance with FIG rules for 11-16 for the year 2017 (starts from zero). 4.2.4.2. Age Group 2, Junior and Senior Combined (starts from zero). 4.2.5. Tariff Sheets Acrobatic: 4.2.5.1. The Tariff Sheets are due at the time of the accreditation.

Judges must have a current FIG brevet otherwise they will not be allowed to judge. 5.3.2. The Judges meeting will take place as listed on the schedule. The Judges meeting is compulsory. Judges who do not participate in the appropriate meeting will not be allowed to judge. 5.3.3. Judges will be provided lunch and dinner during their assigned competition sessions during their respective judges meeting. 6. Meetings: 6.1. Orientation Meetings: 6.1.1. Acrobatic: 6.1.1.1. Judges Meetings: 6.2.1. RG Judges Meetings and draw: 6.2.1.1. All meetings will take place in 102A 6.2.1.2. Thursday, October 12;; 8:30am 11:30am 6.2.1.3. Please refer to the technical schedule for all other judges meeting times. 6.3. Acrobatic Judges Meetings: 6.3.1.1. All meetings will take place in 102B 6.3.1.2. 7. Official Language: 7.1. The official languages of the competition will be English and Spanish. The Rhythmic Orientation and Judges meetings will be conducted in both English and Spanish. 8. Ceremonies: 8.1. Opening Ceremonies: Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday, October 13 th at 6:30pm at the start of the Session 4 Competition 8.2. Medal Ceremonies: Medals will be awarded to 1 st 3 rd place. Competition attire is required for the award ceremonies.
