MIĘDZYNARODOWY FESTIWAL KOSZYKÓWKI WELCOME TO THE XI INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL FESTIVAL Organizers XI International Basketball Festival which will take place on 27-30 th December, for the first time in Żyrardów. To this years edition of Festival we invite teams boys and girls born in 2004 and 2005. It is expected that 48 teams will participate in this tournament. We have planned many activities during the Festival: - Basketball Tournament each team plays min. 5 games and for the first time in full-time 4x10min. - Sports competitions with attractive rewards: free throws for players, free throws for coaches, throws for three positions. - All Stars Game of the Festival - Disco Basket Party - Contest about sport theme with valuable prizes. - Integration meeting for the coaches - Cheerleaders shows Each player will receive memorial set gifts of Festival (T-shirt and leash) and presents from sponsors. The first four teams in each category will get cups, medals and prize items. Also we select MVP, All Stars and The Best Throw of each category and also MVP each team. They will receive individual prizes and among all participants will be drawing valuable rewards. Rules of the participation in the XI International Basketball Festival 1) Goals of the competition: - Fair-play challenge and behaviour - Popularization basketball among children and the youth - Propagation of the rules of safety - Popularization of the healthy way of life 2) Categories: basketball: boys born in 2004 and younger boys born in 2005 and younger girls born in 2004 and younger girls born in 2005 and younger 3) Term of the Festival: 27-30 December 2015 4) Place: Sports and education buildings in Żyrardów. 5) Sports rules: In other records Rules of stay and behaviour during the Festival; In concern of safe and comfortable participation in the Festival obligatory rules of behaviour are publicized. Abidance of these rules is ensured through a sign of the starting team. In case of breaking the below rules, organizing committee has right to pay attention to the problems, keep deposit (concerns damages), sports sanctions (concerns contests) and in extreme case disqualification from the Tournament. l Arrival of teams 1. Coach of the team comes to the Tournament Office after arrival, signs the rules of participation and receives ID badges for participants, eating cards and promotional materials 2. In the place of accommodation coach (or another man responsible for the team) takes the key for the sleeping room, signs the protocol of transference, and after that team receives adequate amount of mattresses from designated place and pays deposit 2OO zł / 50 eur. 3. Any misstatements noticed in the sleeping rooms should be reported immediately to the person responsible for the accommodation in the school. 4. Vehicles should be parked in the designated from organizer places (unattended). 2 Stay and behaviour in the sports and education buildings: 1. The dead hours: 10 pm - 6 am. 2. Coach (or another team protector) is in charge of keeping cleanliness, safety and cultural behaviour of each member of his team in the place of accommodation. 3. Members of the team should be supervised all the time during the Festival. Organizer guarantees stay of another team protector at the cost of organizer.
DETAILED INFORMATION 1. Festival Dates and Game Location: 27-30.12.2015. Athletic and school facilities in Żyrardów. Attention: Organizer does not ensure permanent transport between facilities. 2. Festival Attractions: Basketball tournament played in age categories: boys born in 2004 and younger boys born in 2005 and younger girls born in 2004 and younger girls born in 2005 and younger It is expected that 12 teams will participate in each category. The competition will proceed for the title of the best teams of the tournament and valuable prizes (cups for the best teams, medals, team prizes items and statuettes and prizes items for the best players, presents for coaches). Fees: Option A Basketball players 160zł / 45 EUR.- lodging from 27-30.12; food starting with breakfast 28.12 through dinner 30.12 Attention: Fees related to all participants, coaches, drivers, etc Entry fee per team 250 zł / 70 EUR Withdrawal fee per team 200 zł / 50 EUR pay on place - this fee will be refunded upon completion of the Festival. Option B Basketball players 290zł / 75 EUR.- lodging from 27-30.12; food starting with breakfast 28.12 through dinner 30.12 Attention: Fees related to all participants, coaches, drivers, etc Entry fee per team 250 zł / 70 EUR Withdrawal fee per team 200 zł / 50 EUR pay on place - this fee will be refunded upon completion of the Festival. 4. Accommodation: Option A School classrooms will be available on 27-30.12, organizers ensure: one classroom per team, equipped with camp mattresses - you must take own sleeping begs. Option B Hotel Aqua*** rooms 3-4 persons, toilet, TV, Wi-fi will be available on 27-30.12 www.aqua.zyrardow.pl/hotel_restauracja.html 5. Food: Meals will be serve by school canteens on the Accommodation grounds 6. Rewards: Each participant will receive memorial set gifts (T-shirt and leash) and gifts from sponsors. Applications: Application Cards should be send by 11.12.2015 to the address e-mail marek.kirkowski@wp.pl. Entry and participation fees should be paid to the account MKK Bank BGŻ: 57 2030 0045 1110 0000 0277 0660 indicating Basketball Festival to 20.12.2015. It s possibility to pay fees in place on 27.12.2015 by earlier individual agreement of organizer. Team qualification to the tournament is determined by the order of applications timeliness of fee payments.

4. Organizer is not responsible for any things, teams should secure sleeping room or cloakroom-closing door or windows every time they leave them. 5. Coaches are responsible for every damage caused by the team members. In case of possible damages the protocol of destruction is signed. Costs of reparation come from the deposit, and when costs are higher than the paid deposit - team has to pay the difference. 6. Meals are served: breakfast 6.45 am - 9.30 am; dinner 12.30 14.30 pm supper 18.00 pm - 20.00 pm. Meals will be served only in these hours. 7. Any remarks concerning the accommodation should be reported to the person in charge of accommodation or in the Tournament Office. 8. Any remarks relayed from representative of the organizing committee should be obeyed by the teams. 9. All participants must wear ID badges in visible place. 10. In all buildings is in effect absolute ban smoking, drink alcohol and use intoxicants. 3 Participation in the contest 1. The plan of games should be arbitrarily obeyed. In case of unfounded being late - game may be verified as walk-over for the second team (there is no 15 minutes delay rule). 10 minutes warm-up is foreseen, but it might be reduced to 5 minutes in case of delay caused by extension of other games. In such cases teams should start their warm-up outside playing field. 2. By entry to the sports hall shoes must be changed. 3. After the game the cloakroom should be left as soon as possible. 4. Rules of the basketball contest are collected in another document. 5. At the time of the basketball contest organizer ensured medical services in the sports halls. 6. Any remarks concerning conditions of staying in the sports buildings should be reported to representative of the organizing committee. 7. Any remarks concerning the competition should be reported to the main referee of the contest. 8. Every team should obey advices of the organizer. 9. Participation in the closing ceremony is mandatory for all teams 4 Departure of teams 1. Team leaves after informing the organizing committee in the Tournament Office. 2. Before leaving the sleeping room must be given back (key!) adequate protocol must be signed and then team receives deposit, gives back mattresses.
