Robyn has been involved with sport for people with an intellectual disability at National and International level since she joined AUSRAPID in 1991. She has officiated in all relevant national administrative roles and has represented Australia as Head of Delegation on two occasions 2004, 2011, Assistant Basketball Coach in 1992 and as Manager on numerous occasions at both IPC and INAS level. She is a very strong and passionate advocate for people with an intellectual disability and their inclusion in sport at all levels. Robyn became involved with the INAS Executive following her appointment as the Oceania Region Delegate in April 2011. In that time she has gained a comprehensive knowledge of the INAS organisation and has a keen passion and vision for its future. In terms of application to the task, Robyn sets very high standards, She possesses an ability to think outside the square, is able to work with people at all levels and demonstrates her commitment to the cause in many ways. Her communication skills are first class and technical knowledge is of the highest order. The above achievements combined with her enthusiasm and work ethic present Robyn as a person very well qualified to contribute positively to the INAS Executive and carry out the role of INAS Vice President. It is with much confidence that the AUSRAPID Board submits Robyn Smith s nomination for the position.
