U/6 first training on a Saturday morning a great idea - Redlands have suggested that when the seniors play each other both home and away that all Saturday junior teams also play against each other to have a full day of rugby against each other. Muddies have a ladies team, we have a Colts team that could be a fun game to watch. - Couple of teams still no coach or managers - New managers education JS + LW to organise date in near future - Smart rugby online which allows people to referee upto U/9. TL to promote in newsletter - Rego numbers up slightly on 2016
- Agre group issues with kids playing in higher age groups. This season the U/11 have been smashed because 8 boys have decided to stay back and play another season of U/10 s because they had been playing up previously. Then there are 5 boys who are playing up in the under 12 s so they can go on the Sydnet trip this has left the U/11 team really short of players. In U/6 and U/7 its OK to a degree, but from U/8 up it will be enforced by the club that kids arent allowed to play up (unless by absolute discretion of the committee on exceptional once of circumstances). This is to be added to the club handbook by TR. Motion to move this: 1 st CM, 2 nd KW. Passed KH - Chasing sponsors for coach / managers polo shirts $1,500 Closed 7.50pm Next meeting 13/04/2017
