CAMP AMBASSADOR & MENTORSHIP (CAM) PROGRAM In preparation for the 2017 HBCU Dance Danceline Camp, we are hosting the HBCU Dance Camp Ambassador & Mentorship (CAM) Program. The purpose of the CAM Program is simple to bridge the gap between our future HBCU talent and our current HBCU talent. By connecting the two, we will influence more African American students to pursue their collegiate and performance dreams with confidence. Camp Ambassadors and Mentors (CAMs) are the sweetest addition to an intense 3 day training experience. Each year, campers express how tired and sore they are. Some even want to quit! As a CAM, you will be the voice of reassurance, positivity and encouragement during those moments of insecurity and uncertainty. You are also the spokesperson for your team and a marketing agent for your school, allowing you the opportunity to encourage more students to attend college and audition for your team. In a nutshell, CAMs are the real life examples of how college and dance positively impacts lives.
