Entry fee includes 2 single day passes and 1 vehicle pass. Exhibitors entering only Classes 7, 8, 9 and 11 will receive 1 ticket which is valid for Saturday or Sunday). As entry numbers are limited, these will be treated in order of application. An SAE is required for acknowledgement of entry. Class 2 Rhapsody in Red An exhibit Staged on tabling, 76cm from ground level, covered in green fabric against a green background. Space allowed 68cm depth x 76cm width. Height of exhibit optional. Limited to 10 exhibits. Class 3 Seasonal Splendour A pedestal exhibit Staged at ground level. Space allowed 122cm depth x 122cm width. Against a green background. Height of exhibit optional. Exhibitor to provide own pedestal. Limited to 10 exhibits. Class 4 Dancing Leaves An exhibit. Staged using a black metal stand (provided) 1m high by 23 cm square (see diagram), standing on a circular base measuring 61 cm in diameter,with a circular top measuring 61 cm in diameter (provided). Space allowed: 76cm depth x 76cm width. Height unlimited. To be viewed and judged all round. Limited to 10 exhibits. Class 5 Winter Wonderland ter. An exhibit featuring foliage Staged on natural log measuring 60cm height and 60cm in diameter. Space allowed: 100cm depth x 100cm width. Height optional from surface of log. Class 6 Outside Elegance An exhibit Staged on a base 7.5 cm from ground level, painted Dulux Soft Sage (ref 17531). Space allowed: 122cm depth x 122cm width. Height optional. To be viewed and judged all round. Limited to 6 exhibits. Class 7 Hibernation Hideaway Petite exhibit Size not to exceed 25cm in width and depth. Height optional. Staged on blue/grey painted blocks (measuring 25.5 cm depth, 25.5cm width and 9.5cm height), on tabling 76cm from ground level. May be brought ready assembled. Limited to 15 exhibits. Class 8 Breath of Autumn Miniature exhibit Size not to exceed 10cm in width and depth. Height optional. Staged on blue/grey painted coasters, on tabling 76cm from ground level. May be brought ready assembled. Limited to 15 exhibits. Class 9 Diwali A craft exhibit Designed to be hung against a green background. Space allowed: 60cm width, 60cm depth and maximum length 100cm. May be brought ready assembled, and staging to be provided by exhibitor. Artificial plant material may be used, natural plant material to predominate. Battery operated lights may be included and must be accessible to be switched on and off. Limited to 8 exhibits.
Class 10 A & B A Christmas Decoration An exhibit: A Christmas Decoration Ages 8-11 and 12-16. Age to be stated on entry form. (Open to under 16 s on the day of the competition) Designed to be hung. To be displayed on a branch supplied. Space allowed: not exceeding 15cm in width, depth and height. Age to be stated. Artificial plant material may be used. May be brought ready assembled. Class 11 Burnished Bounty A craft exhibit: A Swag Designed to be hung against a green background. Space allowed: 40cm width, 30cm depth, maximum length 120cm. Natural plant material to predominate. May be brought ready assembled. NB: A swag is an exhibit designed to be hung against a surface. All components are assembled without a visible background. Limited to 8 exhibits. The Best in Show Trophy will be awarded at 4.30 pm on Sunday 24th September in the Floral Art Hall. All Exhibitors are warmly invited.
REGULATIONS 1. The Competition will be judged under the NAFAS Competition Manual (Third edition) 2015. 2. Exhibitors must arrange their exhibits in the building without assistance with the exception of Classes 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 which must be the unaided work of the exhibitor and may be brought ready assembled. No exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit in any one class. 3. Aerosol spray cans of any description must NOT be used inside Wye Hall. 4. The position to be occupied by all exhibits shall be decided by the Three Counties Agricultural Society Floral Art Committee. 5. Exhibits will not be watered. 6. All Exhibitors property will be at the risk of the Exhibitor and the Malvern Autumn Show (Three Counties Agricultural Society) will not be liable for the loss or damage from any cause whatsoever. It is advisable that any valuable accessory should be secured to the exhibit. 7. All entries must be made on the official entry form which must be received by the Floral Art Section not later than first post 25th August 2017. Entries are limited in each class and will be accepted in order of application. Notification will be posted to unsuccessful entrants within 48 hours of closing date of entries and their entry fee will be refunded. Otherwise no entry fee will be refunded and the Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry and in the event of a refusal it is not required to give any reason. 8. Each entry must be accompanied by a fee of 5.00 per class, these fees include VAT. There is no entry fee for Classes 1 and 10. Acknowledgement of entry will only be sent if an SAE is enclosed with entry. 9. If Exhibitors are unable to stage their exhibit/s please inform the Floral Art section by Friday 1st September 2017. 10. Exhibits may be staged at any time between 10.30 a.m. on Friday 22nd September 2017 and 6.30 a.m. on Saturday 23rd September 2017 and all exhibits must be staged ready for judging to commence at 7.00 a.m. All Exhibitors must leave the building by 6.30 a.m. on 23rd September 2017 and WILL NOT be re-admitted until after judging is completed at approximately 9.00 a.m. 11. Competitors will not be allowed to remove exhibits before 5.15p.m. on Sunday 24th September 2017. Vehicles to use the gate indicated by the colour of their vehicle pass to gain access to Wye Hall, but will not be admitted until 6.00 p.m. or until after the Showground has been cleared, whichever is the earlier. 12. Prize money will be forwarded after the Show. Any prize may be withheld or modified if the exhibits are considered undeserving of the prizes offered. 13.
