Valley Creek Road Tower Drive Lineup North Thank you for participating in our 2013 Woodbury Days Grande Parade. The parade will be held on Sunday, August 25th at 1:30pm. Please note, this years start time. Line-Up Number and Check In Time listed below. Please arrive at your correct check-up time to insure a smooth line-up. If you arrive late you may be instructed to go to the end of the parade. Your cooperation is appreciated. PARADE LINE UP FOR FLOATS and VEHICHLES ONLY All vehicles and floats in the parade must enter the line up on Tower Drive off Radio Drive. There is No Southbound traffic allowed on Tower Drive from Valley Creek Road. Please see directions below. This entrance to line up is for motorized vehicles only not for participants walking in the parade or being dropped off. PARADE PARKING INFORMATION: Parking is very limited and NO SHUTTLE is provided to or from line up. Designated Parking is available in the High School parking lot (at the end of the parade) on a first come first serve basis. However, NO SHUTTLE is provided to bring you back to line up and when the lot is full it will be closed. We encourage you to carpool or utilize the designated drop off and pick up locations rather than parking. Note: If you choose to park at the beginning of parade you will need your own plan on how to get back to your vehicle after the parade. PARADE PARTICIPANT DROP OFF & PICK UP (Recommended) Parade Participant Drop off is at Trinity Presbyterian Church located off Afton Road and Tower Drive and Pick Up is at Woodbury High School at the end of the parade. Please see directions below. This is a drop off only no parking is available. Important Note: Drop off will not open until 11:45 AM because of church service. Make sure you arrange for an adult to walk young children to their unit and that you allow enough time to arrive at your units designated time. You will NOT be able to drive down to your unit number to drop off participant s walking/riding in the parade. (see map above): To Parade Participant Drop Off: Parade drop off is on Afton Road at the Trinity Presbyterian Church. Take I-94 to I-494 South, Exit Lake Road Road go East. Follow Lake Road to Radio Drive and go North (left turn). Turn LEFT on Afton Road. Turn LEFT into Trinity Presbyterian Church Parking Lot. Follow the signs to EXIT. NO PARKING ALLOWED IN THIS LOT. NOTE: No southbound traffic will be allowed on Tower Drive off Valley Creek Road so you MUST enter church off Afton Rd. Lot opens at 11:45AM. To Parade Participant Pick Up: Parade pick up is at Woodbury High School South Parking lot. Take Hwy I-94 to I-494 South, Exit Lake Road, go East. Follow Lake Rd. to Wyndham Way and go North (left turn). Follow arrows behind high school to pick up location. NOTE: No entrance to High School Parking Lot will be allowed from Woodlane Drive so you MUST enter lot off Lake Rd. & Wyndham Way. To Parade Line-Up for Floats and Vehicles from I-94: To Parade Line-Up for Floats and Vehicles from I-494: Parade line-up is on Tower Drive. Take Hwy I-94 to I-494 South, Exit Lake Road and go East. Follow Lake Road Road to Radio Drive and go North (left turn). Follow Radio Drive to Tower Drive and turn left and follow to Check In. Parade Marshals will direct you to lineup. NOTE: No southbound traffic will be allowed on Tower Drive off Valley Creek Road you must enter line up as instructed above. Parade line-up is on Tower Drive. Take I-494 to Woodbury Drive and go South. Follow Lake Road Road to Radio Drive and go North (right turn). Follow Radio Drive to Tower Drive and turn leftt and follow to Check In. REMINDER: As stated in the Woodbury Days Parade Application Rule #13: Unit Content: No items (including water or candy) may be thrown to parade spectators; all items must be handed to the parade spectators. Compliance is very important for the safety of the children and the other parade units. Any unit not complying will not be allowed in future parades.
