The 100sqm-climbing wall offers a big number of climbing routes both for beginner and advanced levels. This tour is appealing for both, newcomers and experienced climbers, families and adventurers. A large number of climbing routes and stunning views are waiting for the visitors. And after the challenging climbing there is time for a jump into the refreshing and turquoise water of the Ionian sea.
SUNSET TOUR (Bike Trekking) Cycling Distance s Valta Proti Island 16 km Easy bike trek. Suitable for all ages and experience levels 85 (incl. rental bike, water & boat ride with traditional snack) Monday & Wednesday: 16:00 After a bus transfer to the mountain village Valta we descend a winding road until we reach the picturesque fishing village of Marathopoli. Here we board a traditional boat for the uninhabited islet of Proti. Our destination is the beautiful secluded beaches of Vourlia for a swim and picnic. We then go on a short boat trip around the island, with the opportunity to take photographs of breathtaking views at sunset. FOINIKOUNDA & METHONI (Bike Trekking) Distance s Finikounda & Methoni 22 km. Easy bike trekking tour. Suitable for all ages and experience levels. 70 (incl. rental bike, transfers, water & refreshments in a beach bar) Saturday: 16:00 Starting high up in the backland of Messinia we glide all the way gently downhill trough traditional mountain villages and open fields towards the picturesque fishing village of Foinikounda. During our whole ride we have the southern coast of Messinia with its protected islands Schiza and Sapientza in view. After a refreshing swim in the sea we enjoy a light meal at a beach restaurant in Foinikounda. (Age limit: 6+) Rocky path, partly exposed 50 Tuesday & Saturday: 10:00 The minibus takes us to the starting point for the hike to one of Messinia s best kept secrets. As you make your way through lush green vegetation, crossing wooden bridges, you will find yourself in a landscape of waterfalls and crystal-clear pools. In all, there are 15 waterfalls and plunge pools where you can cool off in the turquoise water. Foot-sureness is required! ANCIENT OLYMPIA (Cultural Hiking) Excursion Time Olympia (Elis) Sight-seeing at Ancient Olympia Approx. 8 hrs 115 (incl. transfer, historical introduction, entrance fee, coffee and traditional lunch in private house) Friday: 09:00 Ancient Olympia is located in a lush countryside between the two rivers of Kladeos and Alpheus. It is the birthplace of the most famous games in history. After a short introduction into this remarkable place we visit the archeological site and the museum. There is enough time to stroll around and take pictures. After the visit of Ancient Olympia we will have lunch in a private atmosphere, with delicious Greek tastes and a stunning view over the backland of Elis. On the way back we visit an old watermill at Kyparissia for a coffee stop.
