Bibliography. Research/ Introduction. My name is Lejon and I'm going to be talking to you about my state Maine. One interesting fact is that 90% of springfield's blue berries come from Maine. After this I'm going to be talking to you about physical characteristics, next I'm going to talk about Symbols and Emblems, then I'm going to be talking about state history, finally I'm going to be talking to you about, jobs and resource, famous people, and famous places. Maine's flag.

Physical Characteristics. The physical characteristics has famous river like. Androscoggin River, Kennebec River, Penobscot River, and State John River. Those are the four states that have the famous River. Boarding State New Hemisphere. Did you know my state rivers are Androscoggin River, Kennebec River, Penobscot River, and John River the famous River in Maine is Mt Katahdin but above the sea level is 5,268 feet and 1,606m I've Been to all of these Lakes and Rivers. Did you know that there's a Lake named after the State animal but the Lake added head. Lake Moosehead, there's another lake called Richardson Lakes. Lake Moosehead. Kennebec River.

Symbols and Emblems. The animals symbols are Moose, honeybees, state bird, State cat, and the state fish. The plants symbol are white pine cone and tassel. The earth symbol for state gemstone is tourmaline and state soil is Chesuncook soil series. Did you know that I was born when people started naming what are symbols and emblems are. The most fascinating symbol in Maine is the state bird. The state bird name is the blackcapped chickadee. This bird might not sound interesting but it's the most famous and prettiest bird in Maine with the most colorful wings. That's why it's the state bird. These are the state insects. Honey bees.

State History. Main's constitution modeled the state government upon the federal government of the United States. The state flag of Maine was adopted in 1909. As in the flag was found for the state. The flag has deep blue fields with the state coat of arms. The largest city in Maine is Portland with the population of 64,143. All the cities put together, the population is, 1,328,302. The state capital of Maine is Augusta. The population of Augusta is 21,325. Did you know that the Chester greenwood was the first person in Maine to create Earmuffs using the following items: fur balls, a long string of metal that could bend, and glue to keep it together. Did You know that the great fossil in Maine is Pertica Quadrifariait was 6ft tall it was alive 390 million years ago. I was born in 1909 when our state flag was adopted, means somebody found the flag that looks good with the state. It was dark blue with state coats for the arms in the center. The coat of arms pictures a farmer and a seaman. I lived in Portland with the population of 64,143 people. The whole state population was 1,328,302 people. It was very crowded. I visited the state governor. Comes to find out, our state capital was Augusta. Did you know that Chester greenwood was the person who created Earmuffs. Dear mom Would you like me to send you some Earmuffs Chester greenwood made, if you do want them, I've got a pair and there really comfortable. The bad news is my city,- Portland is very crowded with the population of 64,143. The good news is that I know mostly everything about my state and the state, animal, insect, bird, cat, and fish. Resource / Jobs. The jobs at Maine are DMR which is a foster home and patrol officers that helps people with their problems, and most people is a biologist. Other people work at other jobs like dentist, artists. Some people is authors, people who wright poets, publishers, inventors, U.S Vice President, U.S Chief Justice, U.S Congresswoman, Colonial governor, Educator and social reformer. U.S Senator. This is the army marching. Did you know that this is the governor.

Famous People. Cyrus H. Was a publisher. Dorothea L was a educator and social reformer. Melville W. Was a u.s chief of justice Hannibal H. Was a u.s Vice President. Sara was the famous author and so was Stephen King. He was a author. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow he wrights poets. Hiram Stevens Maxim was an inventor. Edna St. Vincent Millay he wright poets like Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Edmund Muskie was a U.S senator. Sir William Phipps, he was a colonial governor. Kenneth Lewis Robert is an Author. Edward Robinson was an poetry. Nelson Rockefeller and Margaret Smith was part of the U.S government. These people is part of the U.S senator. Did you know that all of these people I named is famous in my state, Maine. Most of these people is part of the U.S Government. I just moved into the Maine when people started voting for Maine

Famous Places Hello my name is Lejon and I'm going to be talking about Maine and why You should visit Maine. Gulf of Maine which is the state ocean, Canada which is the states country. mt. Katahdin, Richardson is the famous lake to visit in Maine. But in Mt. Katahdin. Above the sea level is five thousandthree hundred-twenty miles deep. I think the most famous place to visit is Maine. By the time I get done telling you about Maine, you would be ready for vacation. Most of the time it's very very hot and, cold only in the winter. I know this is the best state because grownups love the hot, when there's no snow. Kids may not like being in Maine because there's not as many snow like it is in Springfield Illinois and every where else. There are lakes and many fishes that you can catch very easily. There are, lobsters, potatoes, very nice footwear for girls and boys. Did you know that Maine has bigger tv's than Springfield. The most biggest tv in Springfield is the R.C.A'S but Maine has bigger tv's. And has the most famous flat screen tv's. Did you know that the state with the most water is Maine. But when you get there you should visit the state capital which is Augusta. Did you know that Augusta has the most things than any other city in Maine. Do you know why? Because it's the state capital. And the state capital has the most things happening there. Did you know, that most of the famous people live in the state capital or near it. Maine is the most biggest in the New England state.(meaning) the New England state is the states that have mountains. And rocky grounds. Tellagami. If you are done with Maine's interesting facts, if you're not here is some more information about Maine. The first library in Maine was built in 1751. Now Maine has hundreds of new public libraries. Now I'm going to be talking about Maine's mountains. Nine of Maine's mountains are more than four thousand feet (one thousand-two hundred meters) high. That's why people call it New England because of there mountains and rocky grounds. This is my last paragraph and the last information about Maine. Maine has more than five thousand rivers and streams and more than two - thousand lakes and ponds the largest lake covers about one hundred twenty square miles (three hundred and eleven kilometers). Each of Maine's twenty - two cities has home rules meaning that the twenty - two cities has different types of laws.
