Sky Sports And the Masters Sky Sports will show golf s most prestigious tournament, the Masters, from the stunning Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia for the first time this April. Ryder Cup stars Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy and Martin Kaymer lead a strong field of European contenders for the famous green jacket. For the very first time in the UK, all four days of competition, plus the Par 3 contest, will be live in HD. There will also be exclusive 3D coverage, bringing the beauty and drama of the Augusta course into homes. Sky subscribers will also be able to follow extended live coverage of the Masters on their computers, ipad and iphones via Sky Player, Sky Mobile and the skysports.com website. And victorious Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie will join the Sky Sports presentation team that includes Ewen Murray, Di Dougherty, and coach to defending champion Phil Mickelson and former champion Tiger Woods, Butch Harmon.
How to follow the Masters on Sky Sports There will be a number of ways to follow the Masters with Sky Sports. Sky Sports has exclusive rights to the official films of some of the most memorable Masters events. The live coverage begins with the traditional nine-hole Par 3 competition held on the Wednesday. Viewers can then enjoy five-and-a-half hours of live HD coverage from Augusta for the first three days, and six hours from the final round, with plenty of 3D coverage. Golf on Sky Sports in 2011 The Masters is now at the heart of a schedule of golf on Sky Sports that includes live coverage of more than 200 events from five continents and some 4,400 hours of scheduled coverage.
