THE J CRAFT HERITAGE The first J Craft prototype, the Cabrio Cruiser, was completed in J Craft s shipyard on Gotland, Sweden, in 1999. The Cabrio Cruiser brought the aesthetics of boats from a bygone era together with the performance and comforts of modern technology. The first boats served as a floating test bed for ideas and engineering solutions that would form the foundation of later generations of J Craft motor yachts. For more than a decade, innovation and experimentation have been at the heart of J Craft s philosophy. Our naval architects and design team are driven by an uncompromising quest for perfection, ceaselessly working to create the ultimate boating experience. The company s enduring commitment to excellence builds on the centuries old quest for perfection that is the hallmark of Swedish boat building. With a harsh inland climate and unique geography Swedes were driven to build maneuverable, robust boats that could carry heavy loads while withstanding the punishing elements of the far North. The island of Gotland, home to the J Craft shipyard, has been the hub of Swedish boatbuilding from the time of Viking longboats extending through the merchant armadas of the 18th century and culminating in today s luxury motor cruisers. The new J Craft Torpedo takes the concept of the classic motor cruiser beyond the limits of tradition. The Torpedo s bold design cues and head-turning performance are tempered by classic lines and traditional craftsmanship. As a distinctive motor cruiser, the Torpedo is equally at home moored below Eden Roc as it is navigating choppy seas off the Cap d Antibes. J Craft motor yachts are designed to surpass the expectations of today s demanding consumer, with state of the art technology and eco-conscious production. Since its inception, J Craft has strived to lead by example, firmly committed to remaining at the forefront of yacht design and engineering. With a relentless passion for the classic boating experience, J Craft has pushed motor cruising to new levels. 6
