Who we are MAXAM Outdoors is since 1896 the world leader in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of sports ammunition and hunting powders. More than 100 years of history guarantee our wide range of products. The keys to success of MAXAM Outdoors are: Our own technological developments as a result of our continuous investment in R&D. A fully integrated production chain that spans from the manufacturing of the main raw materials (nitrocellulose) to the production of all the cartridge components (cases, primers, powder, wads and lead shot). Cartridges MAXAM Outdoors is the world leader in the manufacturing and commercialization of hunting and sports cartridges. Our wide range of products include cartridges that already form part of the European hunting heritage such as RIO, SAGA or ELEY. The innovative perspective is reflected in the brands of VENATUM and VINCI, both brands being at the pinnacle of new developments in sports cartridges. With the same outlook on innovation, we have given our main company name to the MAXAM cartridge line in which all new technological advancements in the sector are applied. Our portfolio of brands completes itself with names that have an important historical significance in the hunting world like GB, MELIOR, IMPERIAL or DIANA, and the more recent JET.

Cartridges SAGA Cartridges is one of the leading European brands. Its portfolio of products is appreciated by hunters and shooters from all over the world. The growth that this company has appreciated over the years has been made possible by the diverse innovations that benefit its products, through continuous investment in new technologies and research and development. GB Cartridges were born in Eibar in 1924 and has since then been a reference among Spanish cartridge makers and also the world over. GB stays true to its commitment to tradition and its users improving day by day.

Cartridges With more than 180 years of production of shooting and hunting cartridges, Eley Hawk is a reference in the anglo saxon market. Throughout the years, Eley has developed a unique know how with products that are highly appreciated by generations of hunters and shooters in the United Kingdom and all its area of influence. Since the 1970 s, MELIOR has solidified itself in Portugal as a premium quality cartridge manufacturer. This prestige soils itself in the high standards applied to the selection of components that shape the cartridge; most specifically with its powders and the most advanced technologies for ballistic control.

Cartridges new developments As the result of our commitment to provide the necessary cartridges at all times and guarantee the best shooting and hunting days, Bluesteel, Eley Bismuth VIP Evo III, Maximum and Venatum Bi were born. The ranges are loaded with steel shot, bismuth or tungsten and provide an alternative to get the best results in any situation.

Components MAXAM Outdoors manufactures all of the components crucial to the fabrication of cartridges. All of these products are offered for industrial use as well as for individual reloading. Shell cases known for their reliability that have been designed by our R+D+I professionals. Primers with an extraordinary regularity and sensibility along with perfect triggering reaction.. Powders with immediate response, suitable for different temperature and humidity conditions. Our traditional PSB and modern CSB powder ranges are characterized by its regularity and precision. Along with these comes the new SSB powder. A product developed specifically for cartridges containing steel shot and other special cartridges. The technological developments of MAXAM Outdoors in this scope enable a complete and efficient combustion with a total absence of residues after shooting.

Law Enforcement MAXAM Outdoors presents itself with the latest technology in the manufacture of components and product loads for LAW ENFORCEMENT. The Law Enforcement products have been specially designed in order to provide security forces and law enforcement officers with devices that allow them to achieve maximum efficiency while on duty.

We can therefore offer a wide range of pyrotechnics accessories in which we can assure our customers to achieve the finest possible results in their festivals. A varied range that includes, among other things, powders that are loaded for metallic ammunition and igniters for cinematic special effects, theatre and television.

Environmental commitment Our concern for the environment and sustainable economic activity is a crucial part of our activity. At MAXAM Outdoors we visualize hunting as an essential element to the conservation of biodiversity, as much in terms of flora as for fauna. Aligned with our conviction that economic activity and growth does not need to be correlated with negative impacts on the balance of life on earth, the Evervalue project was born to comply with these percepts. Throughout the distinct companies that form the Evervalue group, MAXAM has developed an integral management system of waste with the objective of valorizing expended automotive parts with special attention brought to the lead coming from batteries. Evervalue operates today in Spain, Portugal, USA and UK.
