Zelio Conrol Measuremen elays OPEATING PINCIPLE Operaion is based on a change in he resisance measured beween immersed or non-immersed elecrodes. Low resisance beween elecrodes means liquid is presen. High resisance beween elecrodes means no liquid is presen. The elecrodes can be replaced by oher sensors or probes ha ransmi values represening variaions in resisance. The AC measuring volage, which is < 0 V and galvanically insulaed from he supply and conac circuis, ensures safe use and he absence of any elecrolysis phenomena. Applicaion Deecing a liquid level: operaing wih elecrodes (one reference elecrode and one high level elecrode) or an LA9M01 probe (example: prevening ank overflow) egulaing a liquid level beween a minimum and a maximum level: operaing wih elecrodes or an LA9M01 probe (example: a waer ower) Configuraion Empy funcion : The oupu relay is energized when high level elecrode is immersed, and de-energized when low level elecrode is dry. Fill funcion : The oupu relay is energized when he low level elecrode is dry, and de-energized when he high level elecrode is immersed. On model, a ime delay can be se on energizaion or de-energizaion of he oupu relay, o raise he maximum level (funcion ) or o lower he minimum level (funcion ). This funcion also makes i possible o avoid oupu relay pulsing (wave effec) when operaing wih wo elecrodes. NOTE: The high level can be raised from 0.1 10 s using he adjusable ime delay wih funcion. (6. mm). The maximum operaing emperaure is 1 F (100 C). Probe LA9M01 can also be mouned o conainers such as ciserns or anks using a bracke or oher suiable mouning device.
