Where the Legends Come to Play Golf Pebble Beach Resorts is a legendary place. Combine a dramatic coastline and mystical forest with a rich history of world-class accommodations, warm hospitality, expert service and grand recreation. Perhaps nowhere else on the planet does this combination come together quite like Pebble Beach. This is a premier destination for golf tournaments and special events that include five U.S. Open Championships and the annual AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The Links at Spanish Bay recalls the original Scottish concept for the game of golf, established over 500 years ago. This was the intention of the design team, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Watson and Sandy Tatum, in their creation of a true links golf course. In fact, as the sun sets each day, a bag piper closes the course in Scottish tradition. Pebble Beach Company. Reproduced with permission.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides educational scholarships to sons and daughters of Marines with particular attention given to children whose parents have been killed or wounded in action. Supporters nationwide are responding to this need with generous investments that have created new awards and strengthened the Scholarship Foundation s ability to honor Marines in the most meaningful way possible by educating their children. We hope you will reflect on the generosity and leadership of the men and women who make the Scholarship Foundation s work possible by joining them as a Sponsor at The Links at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach Resorts. Now, more than ever, we have the chance to turn limitations into unlimited opportunities for the children of Marines. The Scholarship programs provide life-changing financial support for students while increasing their chances for success in their personal and professional lives. Together, it is our turn to make a difference.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Today, the annual cost of a degree from a public, four-year college or university is $19,933. Compare that to the Scholarship Foundation s average annual family income of $46,400. That leaves our Marine families with few options for their children s posthigh school educations. Additionally, the unique challenges Marine families face extended deployments and destabilizing moves that result in a loss of educational continuity make the hurdles to higher education particularly high. Given these challenges, and the rising costs of education, it is not a surprise that applications for the Foundation s scholarships have increased 55% since 2007. The generosity and goodwill of volunteers and donors alike, the Scholarship Foundations helps our Marines undertake each mission with the confidence that their families will be well cared for back home. I am sorry I am unable to participate, but I would like to donate to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. I will make my donation online at MCSF.org/Patriots To Benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation www.mcsf.org
