SCHOOL FUNDRAISER Color Play Day! Wear your favorite color to raise money for school. Similar to Color Run but students participate in tennis activities as they make way to finish line. HOLIDAY SANTA S HELPER Host an extended youth play event or junior one-day tournament for kids in December that is an opportunity for parents to get some last minute Christmas shopping done without their kids. COMMUNITY EVENT RUN-N-RACQUET Two For One Event: Run-N-Racquet. Tennis enthusiasts partner with runners' club to host a tennis/run co-event to enhance both sports. Participants to run a sprint, 1K or 5K and then participate in a designated tennis activity (tennis drills, games, pro-sets, or whatever works for group). Children invited to participate and have their own group. Spring or Fall in conjunction with feed in program. Tennis facility or park where run can be held and tennis activity Tennis Equipment Bottled water/bananas Tennis pro Volunteers Partner with local running club. TV/Radio partner to promote event. Get local personality to participate Promote to PTA (all ages), Day Cares, online, websites and Facebook. TV Station Make sure there is a contact at station to direct people to for information. Post pictures

LIVING COMMUNITIES NEIGHBORHOOD TENNIS BLOCK PARTY Reach out to local HOA organizations via local volunteers and offer to host a tennis block party set up 36 & 60 courts in the cul-de-sac for parent/child matches, practice serves, hit for prizes area, etc. whatever you can do to get every person to try tennis once that night and promote local programming. Summer - when neighborhoods have activities going on. Subdivision or neighborhood courts Tennis Equipment for all ages Bottled water/bananas Tennis pro Minimum of 5 volunteers Minimum of 2 courts, 4-6 would be ideal; side by side Pre-schedule a rain date Local Play Info Youth Programming, Tennis Apprentice information, CTA contact info, calendar of events; Play Days, Events, etc HOA e-letters Yard signs with event dates and times Posters by the pool if applicable Sign/banner at the courts Neighborhood/HOA Facebook page Post event photos on HOA Facebook page or bulletin Post CTA contact info on how to get involved in a program Within 48 hours email to those who participated and ask them to complete an exit survey for the chance to win _(insert prize)_. Surveys should be given to CTA for feedback and random winner selection

MILITARY Serve up tennis to our service men, women and their families! This event would encourage education, play and membership conveniently located on their base. The concept of a Tennis Apprentice program could also be considered. Preferably before league season (may be contingent upon their military base calendar) Military base courts Military field for youth courts Approved military area Smash Zone or several mini courts (able to transition to larger court) for organized play On-site coaches to organize and lead games, drills, etc. Enhanced Play Event for military families, activities for all participants Coordinate with the military base contact to discuss the event and secure a date Advertise the event via military based channels: o Newsletters o Activities website o Existing base events o Flyers o Social media channels Post Promotion Follow-up with the relevant tennis information through the military contact

CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION 1) Partner with a charity and offer tennis lessons, clinics with every donation at a certain level. This hosted event can be a tennis kick-off event or wrap-up party for their donors free of charge to the donor. 2) Host a tennis event with all proceeds benefitting the designated charity. Event would be promoted via both organizations (database, social, website), ask local media personality to participate, join team, emcee, etc.. check presentation with leaders of the parties Determine based up on the chosen charity(ies) schedule Online for donations Facility for on-site events Tennis facility Send correspondence to: o Community tennis and charity s email donor database o Internal staff/volunteers o Social Media pages o Local media partners Post Promotion Thank you note to participants (email, postcard, text) with a report on what they accomplished (i.e. raised) Post pictures on Facebook about the event and how it benefited the charity(ies)

CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS Take the sport of tennis to the office! This event targets adults using youth courts as a soft introduction into the sport in a convenient way. Participants can step away from their busy day at the office for some exercise and exposure to tennis! Preferably before Tennis Apprentice season or a few weeks before league season May NTRP free lesson month Corporate office parking lot Large conference room/open space Couple of youth courts Light bites (food) Bottled water Music Instructors At least one (1) local coordinator to help with tennis information Contact HR Directors to determine if this type of an event could be hosted Determine if this event could be in combination with an existing corporate event Provide timeline for the company and why it benefits their organization (health/wellness) Post Promotion Offer to host a more formal night at a tennis facility in close proximity to the organization Offer lesson rate for the company to be sent out to office database
