IMPORTANT - NOTICE TO COMPETITORS Thank you for your interest in our indoor agility trial. It is very important for us to have the full cooperation of the participants so that this competition takes place in harmony and respect the location. Please don't leave any waste on the site and pick up all the waste of your dogs. All dogs must be leashed, except when they run their course or warming in the designated area. This competition will be held under AAC rules. We will assume that competitors are familiar with the regulations that govern this organization. The obstacles will be conform to AAC specifications. Breakaway tires are used in our two rings. One-piece jumps will be used in ring 2. The toys are not allowed during the FEO runs for this trial. To enter this trial, pure or mixed breed dogs must be at least 18 months old and have an AAC ID. Each competitor participates in the event at their own risk. The release form at the bottom of the registration form must be signed to meet AAC registration requirements. The organizing committee of the Club Agility Montérégie reserves the right to refuse entry to any team for any reason deemed sufficient. It is understood that the competitors have full responsibility for the behavior of their(s) dog(s). A competitor whose dog is a nuisance, whose behavior is dangerous or is a carrier of a contagious disease may, at the discretion of the competition committee, be asked to leave the site, and without reimbursement of the entry fees. Disciplinary matters will be referred to the discipline committee of the AAC, which will examine them. The registration fee for each agility runs are $ 18.50 or $10.00 for junior handler. No post-dated check, beyond the closing date will be accepted. Checks will be deposited at the closing date. A fee of $15.00 will apply for returned checks and a complaint could be filed with the AAC. No refunds or cancellations will be made after the closing date. The owner of a bitch or a dog that is injured or ill will be refunded upon presentation of a ticket from a veterinarian, provided that he notifies the secretary at least 24 hours before the first day of competition. No other reason for cancellation will be accepted. A confirmation of entry and a copy of the running order will be sent to each participant after the closing date. Each participant is responsible to inform the Secretary for any errors made in the treatment of his registration. A participant who wishes to make a change in level must do so no later than March 1, 2016 Dogs may advance to the next higher level for the next day of the trial, provided that the Secretary is notified before the the end of the day. This competition will take place in an indoor soccer stadium on Astro Turf surface. We will also have access to locker rooms and bleachers on the second floor. Visitors could install their chairs near the rings or use the space on second floor. It is not permitted to install chairs on the second floor. The space for chairs and cages is limited. Please park your car in the designated area and be respectful to the employees of the stadium. Dogs must defecate only in designated areas, outside the building. Help us keep it clean to be able to hold more trial in future years. If ''accident'' happens inside the stadium, cleaning product will be available at the Information table. Please think to bring your dog outside regularly. There will be no familiarization period but there will be a warm-up area with two (2) practice jumps. To ensure the smooth running of the competition, each competitor will be responsible to waiting at least three (3) dogs before his turn. Competitors who are not present on time will lose their turn and will not be refunded. You will be allowed to eat in the cafeteria or in the stands on the second floor, but no food or drink ( other than water) will be accepted on the soccer field. Marie-Claude Coté will be present both day inn the cafeteria on the second floor. She will provide breakfast and lunch on both days and dinner on Saturday. ATTENTION From January 2016 dogs competing two lower heights than their regular height (double drop veteran) will be a separate classification. If this is your case, please remember to register your dog '' Veteran DD ' and not ' Veteran '. ROSETTES AND RIBBONS Rosette for qualifying score Ribbons to positions 1 to 4 for all classes and categories A rosette will be awarded to all those who obtain a title. All junior handler earning a qualifying score will receive a qualifying score ribbon. A separate classification will be made for junior handler only

PARTICIPATION WAIVER AND RELEASE In consideration of the acceptance of this entry by AAC and Club Agilite Monteregie (the Organizing Club ) and the opportunity to have the Dog participate, compete in and/or be judged at this event or trial (the Event ), I, the undersigned, agree as follows: 1. I certify that I am the actual owner of the Dog, or that I am the duly authorized agent of the actual owner of the Dog and that the Dog is not a hazard to persons, property or other dogs. 2. I agree that AAC or the Organizing Club for the Event may refuse my entry for any reason that it deems to be sufficient. 3. I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event carries certain risks, including, but not limited to injuries (including serous injuries and death) to myself, the Dog, another dog under my control or persons attending as my guests (my Related Parties ), damage to property and other losses. I waive any and all claims that I have or may have in the future against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue AAC, the Organizing Club or any of the directors, executives, committees, representatives, employees, volunteers or agents of either AAC or the Organizing Club (the Personnel ) for any injury, death, property damage or other loss that I or my Related Parties sustain due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, breach of duty, statutory or otherwise, or mistakes or errors of judgment of any kind. 4. I assume full responsibility for the conduct of myself and my Related Parties during the entirety of the Event. I agree to indemnify and save harmless AAC, the Organizing Club and the Personnel from and against any and all claims that may be made against them or costs, fees, expenses or liability (including, without limitation, lawyers fees on a solicitor and own client basis) incurred by AAC, the Organizing Club or the Personnel that may arise due to: (a) any act or omission of myself, my Related Parties or any party for whom I am liable at law; or (b) aggressive behaviour by the Dog or any other dog under my control. 5. I have read, and do understand the rules of competition and the additional rules (if any) appearing in the trial schedule for the Event, as well as the policies of AAC pertaining to discipline (collectively, the Rules ). I agree to abide by the Rules and to conduct myself and the Dog in accordance with the Rules. I understand that myself and/or the Dog may be subject to disciplinary procedures or sanctions for breach of the Rules and agree to respect and be bound by any disciplinary decision made by AAC. 6. I understand that AAC and/or the Organizing Club may, in the course of administering the Event or conducting its activities generally, collect, use or disclose my personal information and that any personal information collected, used or disclosed by AAC and/or the Organizing Club will be treated in accordance with AAC policy and applicable privacy and personal information laws. I hereby consent to the collection, use and disclosure by AAC and/or the Organizing Club of my personal information. Media Release & Rights of Privacy Waiver I Hereby Grant to AAC and its affiliated companies, representatives, agents and assigns, all rights and permission to use or appropriate his/her and their dog s name, biography, likeness, photograph, voice, performing persona, or other indicia of identity for broadcast, telecast, cablecast, transmission or distribution in any format or media known now or in the future. Waiver of Rights to Privacy, Publicity & Personality Further, I hereby release Agility Association of Canada Inc, and its affiliates, representatives, agents and assigns from any claim or cause of action for invasion of the rights of privacy, right of publicity, right of personality, or any similar rights. 7. I have been given the opportunity to read and understand the terms of this Agreement before signing it, and have in fact done so. I understand that by signing this Agreement, I am restricting my legal rights and I sign this Agreement voluntarily and of my own free will.
