We thank you for coming along and checking out this year s Agrotrend, as we celebrate our 40th birthday. Over the years we have seen many exhibitors, farmers and people through the gate and we know that this year will also deliver with two days of farming and lifestyle focussed activities for the whole family to enjoy. This year we welcome the newest addition to the event the Can-Am ATV Demo Track and hope that you too will get out and have a test of these awesome vehicles. Throughout both days the Bundaberg BBQ Battle, Australasian Alpaca Show, Cattle Dog Trials, Poultry Show, Industry Presentations, Bundaberg Yesteryear Machinery Old Tractor Pull, Vintage and Veteran Vehicle Displays will help us celebrate our farming community and lifestyle. Agrotrend is not just about the machinery it s also about the animals and this year you won t be disappointed with working cattle dogs, alpacas and a feathery display of poultry. AUSTRALIAN ALPACA ASSOCIATION 2017 SHOW Whether you are looking for pets, lawn mowers, herd guards or breeding stock we have a wealth of information to share with you. A new hands-on Youth Handlers Workshop for 7 to 26 year olds is on Friday morning, followed by the Judging of the Introductory, Preliminary and Open events. These magnificent animals, and fleeces, are on show Saturday. Come and see as this show is one not to miss. For more information visit us Australian Alpaca Association website: www.alpaca.asn.au WORKING CATTLE DOGS One of Agrotrend s favourite displays - Cattle dog trials are similar to sheep dog trials, with one beefy difference - the dogs have to move three head of cattle through a set course. They will put on a display at this year s AgroTrend, honing their skills. BUNDABERG POULTRY SHOW Birds of a feather flock together and this will be the first time that the chickens and roosters have strutted their stuff as part of Agrotrend. Visit them in the Poultry Shed and see first hand the colour and excitement of the world of poultry.

10.30am Want to give Strongman a go? Here is an opportunity you cannot miss! Get involved and bring your gym mates or support crew to check out the 2nd Annual Agrotrend Strongman! The individual competition will take the form of an individual relay. Each leg of the relay is 20m. $50 prize both male & female categories 1ST Leg Keg carry 2nd Leg farmers walk 3rd Leg tyre flip 12.00pm The reigning 3bz Gym team from 2016 has issued the challenge for this years Human Tractor Pull event! Watch as Teams of 2 men and 2 women battle it out by pulling a tractor 25 metres the quickest time wins. 10.00am First time ever - Kids Strongman competition! Definitely have some fun and maybe win a Kids Fitness Pack and a trophy! There s two categories, kids under 10 and kids 10-15 years. The event is an individual relay. Event 1 is an Atlas Stone Ladder with 6kg/9kg medicine ball; Event 2 is a tyre flip and Event 3 is a Kettlebell Farmers Walk. Weights for each will be dependent on kids. Bundaberg BBQ Battle brought to you by Waterview Distilling Company The second BBQ Battle welcomes a record 30 teams to battle it out in 5 categories: chicken, lamb, pork ribs, pork and brisket. A record 30 judges will perfect the art of meat eating! Walk through and watch the teams as they take this BBQing very seriously. Teams from QLD, NSW, SA and WA will certainly see the battleground heat up! This competition will be an official qualifying round of the 2017 Barbeques Galore Australian Barbecue Championships and points scored in eligible categories will contribute to the Championship and 2017 Leaderboard.
