MADELYN'S WILD MAX pressed the pace three deep on the backstretch, stalked on the turn, came into the lane three wide, battled on through the final furlong and was edged for third while four deep on the line. MY SECRET AFFAIR bobbled at the start and was off slowly, angled out on the backstretch, angled back in on the turn, gave way in upper stretch, was pulled up and vanned off.

MISS BORTOLAZZO had speed between foes then dueled outside a rival, took the lead into the second turn, inched away and angled in leaving that turn, fought back inside in the stretch, could not match the winner late but was clearly second best. HALO DARLIN angled in early then came out into the backstretch, chased three deep between horses then four wide into and out of the second turn and bested the others. ROOM ON THE BROOM a bit slow to begin, settled outside a rival then off the rail, came five wide into the stretch and improved position. BORN TO BE WINNER had speed three deep then stalked off the rail or between foes, bid three wide into the second turn, tracked the leader leaving that turn and three wide into the stretch and weakened. HAYLEY'S COMMENT chased outside a rival then between foes on the backstretch, dropped back off the rail on the second turn, came three deep into the stretch and also weakened. SASSY ASHLEY had good early speed and dueled inside, dropped back leaving the second turn, came out into the stretch and also weakened. FRIENDLY REQUEST broke out and a bit slowly, angled in then came out into the backstretch, went up four wide on the backstretch and five wide into the second turn, continued four wide into the stretch, drifted to the inside in the drive and had little left for the lane.
