Round # 3 UCI Track Cycling World Cup 17 18 January 2015 Cali, officially known as Santiago de Cali, it is the capital of Valle del Cauca and the third most populated city of Colombia. It is located in the south-western part of the country, guarded by the Farallones de Cali, which make part of the Andes mountain chain. Cali is known as the Sport Capital of America and host of many major sports events that take place in Colombia. Among the most important sporting events that have taken place in our city we ve hosted the VI Pan American Games in 1971. We are also proud to have been the host of many World Championships in different sports. Cali hosted the UCI Track Cycling World Cup for the twelfth time in 2013 and, between July 25th and August 4th 2013 hosted the World Games. In 2014 it hosted the Track Cycling World Championships. Cali is famous for its historical places, entertainment and day and night activities. it is also the World s Capital of Salsa. It is one of the major economic and industrial centers of the country, and the main economic, industrial, and agrarian city of the Colombian southwest. It has a wonderful weather with beautiful, warm and sunny days and an average temperature of 26º C (79º F), that ranges from 19º C (66º F) to 34º C (93º F). Training sessions Official Training at the velodrome (3 days prior the competition) The racing velodrome will be available for training from 13 th to 15 th January. The training schedule will be distributed once the team has confirmed their arrival details. January 13rd from 8:00 h to 18:30 h January 14th from 8:00 h to 18:30 h January 15th from 8:00 h to 18:30 h January 16th from 8:00 h to 11:00 h Training Venue prior to January 13 rd For the teams that arrive early, reservations can be made through Mr. Hector ARCILA. A charge will be made per 1 hour and a half (1 ½) for training session: USD $100,00 *The track has to be shared with other teams because there are other delegations that need and want to train the days previous the official training sessions. This is according to the official quota stipulated in national teams and riders according to 3.4.012 of the UCI regulations as described below: The organiser shall pay, in addition of the riders for: - 1 attendant for teams of fewer than 3 riders - 2 attendants for teams of 3 to 5 riders - 3 attendants for teams of 6 to 10 riders - 4 attendants for teams of 11 to 17 riders Page 3

As per the UCI guidelines, only one pick-up per team on arrival and only one drop-off per team on departure will be provided. Transportation will be provided by the Organizing Committee from January 5 th. All national teams arriving before this date may be charged for this service. UCI registered teams may be charged an airport transfer fee should they wish to use the Organising Committee transport. UCI Registered teams should indicate if they wish to access OC transport. Venue Transport A free shuttle will be provided between the abovementioned hotels and velodrome. This service will start in the morning of 13 th January for the official training.
