During the 2014 pool season, we will be under the new management of Aquatec, Inc. For more information on Aquatec, Inc., you can check out their web site at www.aquatecpoolmanagement.com. We are excited about this new pool management group and hope that you will be too. The Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club is open only to residents of the Meadowlands and their guests. Prior to receiving your membership bands, you must be current on your Home Owners Association dues. In addition, Meadowlands residents are not allowed to come to the pool as a guest. Meadowlands residents must join the pool to attend the pool. There are four membership categories for the 2014 swim and tennis season. The first category is a family membership for the pool and tennis club, the required membership category for households with more than two people of any age. This membership includes privileges for up to two household adults and all household children. The second category is a two-person membership for the pool and tennis club, which includes privileges for households with two adult members. If you have more than two adults in your household then you will need to purchase an additional membership/guest pass. An adult household member is a person living in your house who is over 21 years of age and no longer in school. The third category is a single person membership. This is new this year. This membership includes privileges designed if the household has only one adult and no children. The fourth category is a tennis only membership. This membership includes privileges for the tennis courts only and includes all members of your household. We are offering a senior discount of 15% for members 60 years old and up. Please include a copy of your driver license if you are requesting this discount. This year we are offering the same prepaid concessions option that we did last year (see information on the back for a detailed description). We will still accept cash for concessions as well. There continues to be exciting progress with our swim team. The Rays Swim Team will again be competing in the High Point Swim League in the same manner as last year. No more scrounging around for change so your kids can buy a ring pop, forget about being thirsty with no money to buy a drink, we will keep up with your concession money for you. What is it: This system is similar to what is currently used by the school system to pay for school lunches or what country club members use to make food purchases. How does it work: You may deposit $25.00 or more to cover your concession expenses for the summer by submitting it with your membership packet or giving it to a life guard. Each time you buy something from the concession stand, we will deduct the amount of money you owe from your account. When you run out of money, we will contact you and you can replenish your account. Other Details: Children will not be allowed to buy concession items unless the child s custodian allows them to make purchases. We will mark your account as child restricted or child approved depending on your preference when you submit your initial deposit. Each purchase must be signed for by the person making the purchase. Each person will be required to provide their family account number to make a purchase (number of house, street, and last name, for example 634Medinah-Sams). Balances will be provided upon request. Fine Print: If you have money remaining in your account after the pool has closed for the season, it will roll over to the next pool season. If you do not renew your pool membership, your concession balance will be refunded. If you owe money at the end of the pool season, you must pay your balance before you can renew your pool membership. Benefits of this system: No more cash to keep up with. Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club Committee assumes no responsibility for injury or damage resulting from such use, as well as no responsibility for property loss by theft or otherwise. Aquatec, Inc. shall be in charge of the daily operations and management of the swimming pool facility. The pool managers and staff are responsible for enforcing the rules and maintaining discipline and proper decorum at the pool. Members are expected to ensure that their children and guests observe all rules and obey all instructions from the lifeguards. Repeated failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for suspension of privileges. See "Repeat Violation of Pool and Tennis Club Regulations" below. You must be a Meadowlands resident to join and use the Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club. Meadowlands residents are not allowed to come to the pool as guests of members. You must also be current on your Home Owners Association dues to be a member of the Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club. There will be absolutely no refunds for pool memberships or for the purchase of guest bands. Temporary and permanent guest bands are only valid for the pool and tennis season in which they were purchased.

GENERAL RULES 1. The pool will open on Saturday, May 24, 2014 and close for the season after business on Sunday, September 7, 2014. We are excited to be able to stay open the entire week of Labor Day! Pool hours are as follows: The swimming pool opens Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. From Saturday, May 24, 2014 through June 10, 2014, the pool hours will be: Monday through Thursday 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Friday 4:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. The pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2014. Beginning June 11, 2014 through August 24, 2014 the pool hours will be: Monday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. Friday 11:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. The pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. on Independence Day, Friday, July 4, 2014. Beginning August 25, 2014 through Sunday, September 7, 2014, the pool hours will be: Monday through Thursday 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Friday 4:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. The pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2014. Swim team practice hours are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6:00pm 7:00pm Tuesday 9:30am 10:30am Saturday 9:00am 10:00am The junior pool will remain open for all pool members during swim team practice. Two lanes of the main pool will also remain open on Mondays and Thursdays, and 3 lanes will remain open on Wednesdays for all pool members during swim team practice. The lanes that will remain open will be those closest to the main entryway to the pool. The diving board will be closed during swim team practice. The Swim Team Committee will send out further correspondence as to when practices will begin.

Adult Swim: New this year, we will be having adult only swim time! This is exciting for many adults and seniors in the neighborhood. During adult swim time, no one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the pool area. This will also be a swim at your own risk time and there will be no lifeguards on duty. Swimming will not be allowed before dawn or after dusk. Adult swim hours will be as follows: Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday 6:30 11:30 am 6:30 10:30 am 6:30 9:00 am (due to swim team practice) 6:30 10:30 am 6:30 10:30 am 6:30 10:30 am 6:30 8:30 am (due to swim team practice) Pool hours may be changed at the discretion of Pool Management for the following: holiday hours, change in the Davidson County school calendar, swim team practice or events, private pool parties, inclement weather, and mechanical failures. Every effort will be made to notify the membership of scheduled closings. Notices will be posted on the announcement board at the pool entry area and on the website. 2. All members are required to sign in when entering the pool. 3. All members are required to wear the membership band at all times when in the pool area. Membership bands are non-transferable and are only to be used by the family, which purchased the pool, and tennis membership. 4. GUESTS: A. MEADOWLANDS RESIDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COME TO THE POOL AS GUESTS OF MEMBERS. MEADOWLANDS RESIDENTS MUST JOIN THE POOL TO USE THE POOL. B. The swimming pool facility is for the use of members of the Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club and their guests. A guest may use the pool only when accompanied by a member. You must be 16 years old to bring guests under the age of 13. Members 13 years old and over can also bring guests as long as the guest is at least 13 years old. If you have more than eight guests, it is considered a party and the pool party rules below need to be followed including two week advanced notification of the pool committee member. C. Guest fees are $5.00 per guest per visit. Guests under the age of three will be admitted at no charge. It is the member s responsibility to register and supervise their guests. All guests are required to wear guest bands at all times when in the pool area and all guests are required to sign in when entering the pool. D. No pool guests, except as discussed in E. below, (including babysitters, non-household relatives including grandchildren and out-of-town guests) will be allowed in the pool without payment of a guest fee or presentation of a temporary or permanent guest band. E. Members of outside swim teams are allowed to use the pool during Meadowlands official swim team functions at no charge. This will be at the discretion of the Meadowlands Swim Team Committee

F. Permanent guest bands are non-transferable and are only to be used by the family, which purchased the permanent guest bands. G. Any members less than 13 years old wishing to bring a guest must have the ADULT (parent or adult guardian) member owning the membership sign-in the guests. The guest may remain AS LONG AS THAT ADULT REMAINS ON THE PREMISES. H. ALL GUESTS MUST DEPART WHEN THE MEMBER LEAVES THE POOL. I. Guest admittance is NOT guaranteed. We will treat our membership as first priority. J. MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR GUESTS. IF A GUEST IS ASKED TO LEAVE THE POOL AREA FOR ANY REASON, THE POOL MEMBER THAT SIGNED IN THE GUEST MUST LEAVE THE POOL, ALONG WITH ANY OTHER GUEST THEY SIGNED IN THAT DAY. K. MEMBERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE DONE BY THEIR GUESTS AND WILL LOSE POOL PRIVILEGES UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED FOR THE DAMAGE. THE MEMBER MAY ALSO LOSE THE RIGHT TO JOIN THE POOL IN THE FUTURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE. L. A check for guest payment will be accepted from the member only. There will be a $30 fee for all returned checks. 4. Parents are fully responsible for their children at all times and should regulate the use of the pool by their children. Parents will not be permitted to leave children under thirteen years of age unattended at the pool. Anyone under thirteen years of age must be accompanied by a member or babysitter who is sixteen years of age or older. Babysitters are considered guests and must pay a guest fee or wear a guest band upon entering the pool. 5. The shower and bathhouse are for the use of members and their guests. Members and guests are responsible for leaving these facilities in a neat, clean, and proper condition. Parents must accompany children three years and younger to the restrooms. 6. Persons using the pool facility must furnish their own towels and must be dressed in proper swimwear. Cutoffs are not allowed. 7. Regular diapers are not allowed. Little Swimmer diapers are required for children who are not completely potty trained. HEALTH, SAFETY & CONDUCT RULES 1. The Kiddy/Wading Pool is limited to children three years of age and younger and the supervision and safeguarding of users of the kiddy/wading pool shall be the responsibility of the parents of the children using the pool. 2. Pets are not allowed in the pool area under any circumstances. 3. Members are responsible for leaving their seating or eating area clean and neat. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS BOTTLES OR CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED. No food or beverages are allowed within six feet of the pool.

4. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE AMENITIES AREA (POOL, TENNIS, BASKETBALL, PLAYGROUND). 5. There will be a 10-minute break period every hour for all children and guests under the age of 18. ALL NON-ADULTS (UNDER 18 YEARS OLD) MUST LEAVE THE POOL DURING THE POOL BREAK. 6. Floatable water gear and toys are permitted at the discretion of the lifeguards. However, large rafts and floats are not allowed. See further limits in #7 below. 7. Flotation devices will not be allowed in the deep end of the pool or on the diving board. 8. All flotation devices for children used to assist in swimming must be USCG lifeguard approved. 9. No water guns are allowed in the pool facility. 10. No water balloons are allowed in the pool facility. 11. Running and horseplay will not be tolerated. 12. Pool chairs are not to be used as forts. 13. At the first incidence of thunder or lightening as determined by the lifeguard, the pool will be cleared for a minimum of 30 minutes. 14. The pool manager and staff, in conjunction with the pool committee, are in complete charge and have the authority to request that pool privileges be suspended for anyone repeatedly violating pool rules. See "Repeat Violation of Pool and Tennis Club Regulations" below for details. 15. The stereo is to be operated by the pool management only. The volume may never be turned above the predetermined maximum level. 16. Absolutely no fireworks allowed on the pool property. 17. No grills are allowed in the pool facility other than the grill on the pool premises, which is available for rent for pool parties. 18. No scooters, skateboards, roller blades or bicycles are allowed within the fence of the pool facility, on the tennis courts or on the basketball courts. Bicycles must be parked in the designated bicycle racks. 19. Any member active in vandalism, theft or destruction of pool or tennis property will have their membership suspended for a minimum of the remainder of the season or until such time as the Meadowlands Pool and Tennis Club Committee deems appropriate. REINSTATEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF REIMBURSEMENT TO THE MEADOWLANDS HOA OF THE DAMAGE COST FROM SAID EVENT. OTHER PENALTIES MAY APPLY. 20. NO CONFRONTATIONS WITH THE LIFEGUARDS OR OTHER POOL AND TENNIS MEMBERS WILL BE TOLERATED. 21. EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION, PROFANITY, AND INAPPROPRIATE PHYSICAL CONTACT OR VERBAL ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. 22. USE OF THE TENNIS COURTS IS FOR MEMBERS ONLY. MEMBERS MUST FOLLOW THE INCLUDED RULES AND ALL RULES POSTED ON THE SIGN AT THE TENNIS COURT AREA.

REPEAT VIOLATION OF POOL AND TENNIS CLUB REGULATIONS 1 ST OFFENSE: VERBAL AND WRITTEN WARNING 2 ND OFFENSE: SUSPENSION OF POOL AND TENNIS USE FOR ONE WEEK FROM DATE OF MOST RECENT OFFENSE. 3 RD OFFENSE: SUSPENSION OF POOL AND TENNIS MEMBERSHIP FOR REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. New this year: All correspondence related to violation of pool and tennis club rules and regulations will come directly from AMG (Association Management Group, Inc.) which is the same company that manages our home owners association. POOL RENTAL FOR PRIVATE and NON-PRIVATE PARTIES Pool rental for private parties is available from 7:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday only for members only. A non-refundable rental fee of $125.00 is due at time of reservation plus fees for after hour s lifeguards. The rental fee plus any other incurred costs will be paid to the Meadowlands Swim and Tennis Club c/o Association Management Group, Inc. and Lou Ann White. The rental fee should be mailed to 614 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27401. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance and are subject to availability. Please visit the Aquatec website to book your party to ensure lifeguard coverage. We will only allow one private party per week in order to be fair to all other members. All pool rules apply during private parties. Non-private birthday pool parties for children will be allowed during normal pool operating hours on a first come first serve basis and still must be booked through Aquatec by sending an email to Matt Yates at matt@aquatechpoolmanagement.com. There will be a limit of 15 children when the party is during normal pool operating hours. Guest fees will apply for day parties. Advance notice of all private parties will be posted on the pool house communication board one week prior to the event. RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
