THE HERITAGE OF FUJIKURA & SPEEDER As we celebrate the relaunch and remastering of the iconic Speeder 757, we have taken a look back at where Fujikura has come from and where we are going. In 1995, when Speeder was first launched, it paved the way for a revolution in the golf shaft industry. Speeder was the first shaft to use premium advanced materials and initiated a new market in golf shafts. Since that time, Fujikura, Speeder, and the shaft industry as a whole have experienced a massive boom in popularity as more and more players learn the value of a quality, high performance golf shaft. Playing better golf is not just about the player; it is also about the equipment and finding the best fit for you. It is this philosophy that has permeated through Fujikura over the last 18 years and is what sets us apart from every other shaft company. This difference can be seen in every Fujikura golf shaft because of the legendary Fujikura Fit-On Studio which houses our proprietary ENSO 3-D motion capture fitting system the first club fitting system that measures information both before and after the ball is hit. With 3-D motion capture, the club and shaft are dynamically measured and recorded throughout the entire swing. These scientific swing analysis variables are then integrated with data from the most advanced ball flight monitors available to produce products that are literally the world s best performance golf shafts. While every other shaft company is developing through trial and error, Fujikura is using science, engineering, and technology to create the best product possible and bring it directly to the consumer. It is because of all these factors that we are proud to reintroduce the Speeder 757 to the world with the NEW 757. Through Fujikura s proprietary product development processes like ENSO, combined with leading engineers, the best materials and product testing on Tour, the new Speeder and the rest of our 2014 product offering are guaranteed to give our dealers a wide variety of aftermarket shafts designed to exceed their customer s expectations every time. 1995 IS INTRODUCED IN JAPAN 1998 IS LAUNCHED ON THE PGA TOUR 2000 2002 2003 2005 2009 2011 2013 SHAFT, BRAND & MODEL ON TOUR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER RELEASES R510 TP WITH SPEEDER757: PREMIUM DRIVER IS BORN ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER RELEASES 983K WITH SPEEDER FUJIKURA AND SPEEDER 1 ST AND 2 ND HOTTEST SHAFT BRANDS IN GOLF BY INDEPENDENT SURVEY IS RELEASED AROUND THE WORLD MOTORE SPEEDER TOUR SPEC LAUNCHES WORLDWIDE: #1 ON TOUR LAUNCH OF THE NEW WITH ENHANCED TRIAX CORE TECHNOLOGY Heritage of Fujikura & Speeder 04 05

The New It is without a doubt the most iconic and sought after shaft brand in golf history. Speeder has been named the winningest shaft and has never left the Tour since its debut in 1998. The new 757, 661, 569, and 474 models were designed using Triax Core Technology, which is Triax three-directional woven graphite material on the inside layer of the shaft. This enhances its contribution to increased speed and stability. Designed by Fujikura Engineers to maximize the energy transfer from the golfer to the club head at impact, this shaft will help you play like a PRO. Through the use of ENSO, each shaft within this series offers something different depending on your swing type. The Pro 53, 63, and 73 are designed for the golfer looking for a mid-launch and low spin, and the Pro 73 Tour Spec is designed for the stronger swinger who can benefit from a mid to low launch and low spin. Building off of Fujikura s H.I.T. Technology, the PRO Series is built with Maximum Carbon Fiber Content material and Cage construction for stability throughout the swing to provide more accurate shots. IRONS 16 17 IRONS Experience the difference in your short game with Fujikura s graphite and metal/graphite composite irons in your bag. With less vibration in your hands, these clubs are designed for optimal feel and customization to your swing. Whether you re a tour player or beginning golfer, being fit with Fujikura iron shafts will tighten your accuracy and make you even more competitive. New to the 2014 irons family, the Pro 95i shafts are able to achieve steel shaft weighted swing weights. Utilizing only a #2 iron blank, this shaft is able to hold a consistent swing weight throughout the set when trimmed to length. This allows the golfer to further benefit from the feel and vibration dampening that graphite shafts offer, while maintaining traditional swing weights. 03 04 Spin Launch Weight Load PRO 95i Med Med 99 Med EXS 60i Med/High High 60-65 Med EXS 70i Med Med/High 77-78 Med/Strong EXS Sakura High High 60 Smooth MCI 60 Med Med 65-67 Med MCI 80 Med Med 84-86 Med MCI 100 Med Med 104-106 Med/Strong MCI 120 Med Med/Low 122-124 Strong

HYBRIDS The hybrid has become an indispensable part of the golf bag and Fujikura has expanded its line of hybrids to offer something for every golfer. More than a rescue club, the hybrid hits the sweet spot between woods and irons to give great distance with exceptional feel. You will be able to confidently overcome any obstacle you face on the golf course. There are five different options available with various tour proven technologies, all to enhance the performance of every type of golfer. Newest to the hybrid family is the Fujikura Pro Hybrid, as well as the MCH (Metal Composite Hybrid). By using Fujikura s Metal Composite Technology, this shaft is a true hybrid. FUJIKURA SHAFT TECHNOLOGIES For over 30 years, Fujikura has set the standard in shaft design, process technology, and materials all of which have helped lower golf scores around the world. Better performance on the course that s the advantage serious golfers should expect and get from their equipment. Carbon fiber is woven into a honeycomb structure that covers the ply in three directions. Triax resists the bending forces from multiple directions during the swing to provide increased stability and speed toward impact. Fujikura s current line of graphite shafts feature the following technologies: ENSO The first club fitting system that measures information both before and after the ball is hit. With 3-D motion capture, the club and shaft are measured dynamically and recorded throughout an entire swing. Those variables integrate with data from the most advanced ball flight monitors to precision fit the best performing shaft for that swing. Fuel Rod Technology, comprised of the Combustion Chamber and the Load Injector Tip, allows for a more efficient transfer of energy down the shaft, generating more power with less overall effort. MCT achieves two important features in a graphite shaft for irons and hybrids. Benefits include a balanced adjustment of center gravity location in a shaft and better controllability by smooth movement coming from a thinner silhouette, which is essential to iron and hybrid shafts. Fujikura Technology 20 21 Developed in-house by Fujikura, FlexMap is an advanced mapping technology that measures specific golf swing characteristics of different shafts through pre- and post-impact swing phases. Through understanding the micro details of a golf swing, identified markers have allowed for the grouping and classification of all shafts into three primary shaft profile types. MAXIMUM CARBON FIBER CONTENT Provides greater stiffness and strength compared to a standard/conventional material at a similar weight. This allows for increased stability, distance, and feel. Materials containing an extremely high fiber content are difficult to make, and only the best, high-precision material suppliers can accomplish it. They make it especially for Fujikura. QUADRA AXIS Presenting a new, low-density paint finish that s so incredibly light, it might as well be invisible. Phantium Finish reduces standard cosmetic weight by as much as 70%, while still allowing for a rich luster and premium appearance. Our four directional graphite composite holds the shaft in round through the impact area of a swing. When used together with the Triax weave, the shaft returns to the head more consistently, producing more centers of contact. Translation: longer and straighter drives. H.I.T. TECHNOLOGY H.I.T. stands for High Inertia Tip. This technology stores more energy during your downswing then releases that energy right before impact, which means the tip end of the shaft accelerates faster to the ball. This provides optimal spin, regardless of hits with higher or lower trajectories. CAGE Fujikura invented an innovative design process that surrounds graphite shaft fibers in the outer walls with a rigid cage structure. This creates thinner, lighter walls that have the same feel and control of a heavier shaft.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CHARTER DEALER? Fujikura aftermarket golf shafts can only be purchased through our Charter Dealer network of certified club fitters and builders or as custom upgrades through OEMs. More than 30 years ago, Fujikura pioneered the aftermarket golf shaft industry by providing custom golf shafts that could be fit to a unique swing type. Today, we strive to stay true to our heritage and stand by our commitment of being The World s Best Performance Golf Shafts. 2013 TOUR SUCCESS PGA TOUR Players using Fujikura in their drivers won the following events in 2013: Hyundai Tournament of Champions AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro AM Crowne Plaza Invitational RBC Canadian Open 3 longest drivers for the year all play Fujikura in their drivers 3 out of the top 4 in driving accuracy use Fujikura on the PGA Tour 3 out of the top 5 in driving distance use Fujikura on the PGA Tour Number 1 driver at the British Open and Masters Player who shot 59 on the PGA Tour this year uses Fujikura LPGA TOUR Players using Fujikura in their drivers won the following events in 2013: Reignwood Classic Sime Darby Malaysia Lorena Ochoa Invitational EUROPEAN TOUR European rookie of the year (ROY) uses Fujikura and the first American to ever win the title.
