MORTON PARAMEDICS LOCAL #4952 ANNUAL GOLF INVITATIONAL FUNDRAISER Dear Supporter: With the help of our Supporters, the Morton Paramedics Local #4952 enjoyed a successful golf outing last year raising $3000.00 to help support our cause. We are working hard this year to beat our total from last year and seeking your support for our Annual Charity Golf Invitational! As members of the Morton Fire Department, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life of the community we serve through the protection and preservation of life, property, and the environment. This is accomplished by providing prevention, education, and emergency medical services while seeking and using new technologies to meet the changing needs of the community, and by providing support, training, and encouragement to the individuals in the organization. We staff two advanced life support ambulances 24/7/365 and supported by a full accompaniment of volunteer fire department personnel and equipment. For our outing this year, we will again be contributing a portion of our proceeds to support our Morton Community Foundation Endowment Fund. The Morton Community Foundation was formed as a Community Trust or Savings Account created by Morton people for Morton people for the benefit of generations to come. When donors give to a fund, their principal gift will never be spent. Instead, it is invested... and the proceeds from the investments are used to benefit their favorite organizations or fields of interest. Although the Morton Community Foundation seeks to support and work with other local organizations, the Foundation is an independent charity that follows the ethical principles and best practices of the Council on Foundations, a national organization that supports grant makers in various aspects of foundation management.
