Your pack with your personalised membership card will be with you shortly, if you haven t received it within 15 working days of joining please contact the membership team directly. 2 An introduction to YOUR MEMBERSHIP The new, annual WRU membership enables you to get closer to the action and the players than you have ever done before. The Supporters Club website hub will be the main point of all information. We will send you e-shots on a regular basis to inform you of things you may want to hear about such as priority pre-sale periods, exclusive discounts or confirmation of a successful ballot entry.
3 Ticketing INFORMATION The WRU SC is committed to providing members with the best possible access to tickets to see Wales live. We cannot guarantee every WRU SC Member a ticket to every game, but assure you that we distribute our allocation fairly amongst members and continually work to source the greatest number of tickets available. There are two ways we distribute tickets to WRU SC members: 1) Supporters Club Exclusive Members Pre Sale (EMPS) 2) SC ballot Exclusive members pre sale period: For all WRU Men s International matches that are intended to go on general sale, there is an opportunity, before general sale, for supporter s club members to obtain tickets via the EMPS. This is only available to WRUSC members. Members during this time will also benefit from not paying booking fees on tickets. Prior to the on sale date all members will be notified via email on how and when they can purchase. The number of tickets that can be purchased per member will be notified in advance. All tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis. You will be able to select your seats via an interactive map on the e-ticketing site. P&P fee will apply. After the designated period if WRU SC members have not taken all the remaining tickets then general sale will occur.
Ticketing INFORMATION Ballots: For all Mens home International matches that sell out before EMPS, during EMPS or in the early part of public sale then a ballot will be run. All members will be notified that a ballot is happening and will be asked to register their interest via the ballot tab of the website. You will be notified via email if you are successful. The email will also contain all the relevant information in how to claim and pay for your ballot tickets. Each member, if successful, can purchase 2 tickets. No booking fee will apply and you can also opt to collect your tickets on match day saving you P&P. If a member does not wish to take up the ballot tickets, the tickets will be re-allocated to another member.
4 Getting to know YOUR MEMBERSHIP: Members Bar: For all home men s Internationals we will offer a members only bar. The location will change between each set of matches. All members bars will be notified on the events section of the website where we will also ask you to register your interest in attending so we can plan according to capacity. The members bar not only means that members can enjoy the camaraderie of socialising with other WRUSC fans, but you can also enjoy some space away from the crowds. To enter, you will be required to show a valid match day ticket and membership card or proof of purchase of a membership. Each member can bring a guest. All junior members must be accompanied by an adult. Special Offers: From time to time our partners will provide a variety of offers over the year. If we have a special offer happening we will also host this here so you can see what offers are currently active. Competitions: We will host a variety of competitions such as merchandise, signed gifts and experiences.
5 WRU SCTV / TV GOLD: We record and upload fresh content on a weekly basis. We look to record and share with you behind the scenes footage, interviews and access.
6 MERCHANDISE DISCOUNT: All members are entitled to 10% off merchandise both in our official WRU store and online. In store you will be required to produce your membership card On our online store you will need to log in and the discount will automatically be applied at point of checkout. Please ensure the email address you log into the store with is the email address assigned to your membership. If it is different the online store will not recognise you as a Supporters Club member and your discount will not be applied.
7 EVENTS: Under the events tab you will find any upcoming events that we want to share with you, but also for you to register your interest if you wish to attend. The most common things that will appear on this tab are: Members bar access on match days Exclusive members events
WRU Forum: 8The forum allows members to discuss current topics, become acquainted with fellow members and also for us to communicate important or useful information from ticket information to exclusive links.
9 YOUR PROFILE: This contains all of your details on your membership and registered address. It also contains information on your loyalty points. Loyalty points are earned in the following way: Gold Members 1 point for every GB pound you spend, every point is worth 5p, to be redeemed online in the official WRU store. Red Members 1 point for every GB pound you spend, every point is worth 2.5p, to be redeemed online in the official WRU store. Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date. We assume information stored on the system we assume is correct and will not always check when competition prizes or tickets are sent out
10 TOURS: Gold and Junior members are both entitled to 2 free tours of the Millennium Stadium per year. To redeem the tours simply email tours@millenniumstadium.com or call 02920 822228. Proof of membership will need to be shown on the day. The free tour only applies for one person and refer to the standard tours only.
11 Junior SUPPORTERS CLUB: WRU Junior Supporters Club is the new and exciting home for all young Welsh rugby fans. It s the first time ever we have launched a Junior membership and is designed to engage young fans in rugby. The site includes exclusive content of the Welsh rugby team, WRU Rugby Stars discount plus money can t buy competitions and opportunities. The most exciting opportunity for our young supporters is the exclusive chance to become a mascot for the Welsh team and run out onto the Millennium Stadium turf with the Welsh captain at their side. 12 Where does YOUR MONEY GO? As a WRU SC Member, you are also helping to develop Welsh rugby from grass roots upwards. The WRU guarantees your money will be put back into the game in order to promote, foster and encourage the game of rugby union in Wales. WRU Profits from tickets will go to the development of rugby union in Wales
