Information for the Day of the Celebration We thank you for allowing UTEP to share with you this special Centennial Celebration event. In the following pages you will find information for making this a special day. On November 16, 2005, UTEP officials will be on hand to welcome you to the Don Haskins Center (DHC). Driving and Parking instruction are provided on the following page. Entering and seating has been pre-arranged as follows: Students from the Clint, Canutillo and Fabens School Districts will enter the DHC from the north entrance and sit along the west side. Student from the Socorro School District will enter the DHC from the north entrance and sit at the north end. Students from the El Paso and San Elizario School Districts will enter the DHC using the South entrance and sit at the south end. Some schools will be seated on the floor of the DHC. We have tried to distribute the students as best as possible, while working to keep students from the same district close together. Please refer to the attached list to see in which section your school will be seated. Following the program, schools will be released by UTEP Officials. Please remain in your seats until such time as your school is released. Schools not taking part in the campus tour will be released first. After these schools have departed the Don Haskins Center, all remaining students will be released to participate in the walking tour. The first stop of the tour will be the Sun Bowl for lunch. Again, seating in the Sun Bowl has been pre-arranged. Please refer to the attached list. Students are encouraged to wear their school shirt (uniform) and comfortable walking shoes. Students are to reload their buses in the same parking lot as they were dropped off.
