Membership Statement Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. Federation Entry Agreement By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the Federation ) and the local rules of (Competition). I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts, broadcasts, internet, film, new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See GR908.4. Sharps Competition Management may fine any individuals including trainers, owners, exhibitors or their agents up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. 5

From I-244 Eastbound across the north side of Tulsa, exit at Yale and turn right (south) and go to 15th Street at the NE corner of the Expo Grounds, turn right (west) and go to Gate 7, turn left into Expo. RULES AND REGULATIONS This show is a regular member of USEF. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT FEDERATION RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. ENTRIES: Entries close April 8, 2014. Post entries will be accepted until the close of the show office the day before the class/classes is/are held at regular cost plus a one-time late charge of $40. Riders who show in a class in which they are not entered will be charged a double entry fee. All horses entered must be named on entry blank, including horses shown only in equitation classes. Entries will ONLY be accepted when signed by the owner, rider or handler, AND trainer. Entries must be accompanied by a check for stabling fees. Post entries will be accepted as noted above. Numbers will not be issued without proof of negative Coggins test and health cert. No stall will be reserved unless stall fees are paid by the close of entries. Please give complete name, address, telephone number, and tax payer ID number for owner, rider, and trainer. Each entry must also include USEF numbers for Owner, Rider, and Trainer. It is the responsibility of the person making the entry to execute it properly and complete all necessary information pertaining to each entry made in accordance with the rules of the USEF. A $35 Office/Administration fee will be charged for every horse on the show grounds to covering schooling, adds, and scratches. Tack stalls and shavings can be divided if notification is given in Show Office no later than Friday Noon. All non-showing horses will be charged $100 and MUST submit signed entry blank and neg. coggins test, the same as a showing horse. A processing fee of $40 plus collection fees will be charged for all non-negotiable checks. REFUNDS: NO STALL FEES WILL BE REFUNDED after the closing date of April 8th. Entry fees will not be refunded unless a certificate of illness or injury prepared by an accredited veterinarian is presented to the show office before the start of the show. Once the show has started horses which are not shown in classes which they have entered will forfeit their entry fees, except if a horse is injured or becomes ill prior to the class(s) entered - certificate of illness from official horse show veterinarian required. Proper notification of scratches must be made in the show office BEFORE the start of the class or classes being scratched. In either case the entry fee will be refunded less an office processing charge of $35. STALLS: 10 x 10 permanent stalls with doors are available at $175. Stalls are on a first come basis. Stalls will be available April 14(MONDAY). Bedding, feed, and hay are available for purchase on the grounds and may be pre-ordered by calling (405) 641-0167. Manure must be disposed of in designated areas only, no manure in trash bins. No stall doors or panels are to be removed. A $50 ONE DAY GROUNDS FEE will be charged for horses trailering in and showing daily. CAMPERS: Camper spaces with full hook-up, including sewer, are available through the Tulsa Expo Square. CREDENTIALS: All exhibitors in any Amateur, Junior, or Pony section must present Amateur certificate or measurement card to the show office before numbers will be released. To speed processing, please send photo copy of credentials with entry. All horses and ponies that do not have a current measurement card will be measured at a designated time/location. Any exhibitor not presenting valid membership credentials (USEF/USHJA) will be charged a $30 non-refundable non-member fee for each of these associations. HORSE REGISTRATIONS: All horses competing in Federation non-breed restricted licensed competitions with hunter, hunter breeding, jumper, and hunter seat equitation classes (except those activities enumerated in GR901.9, items 1-9) must be properly identified and must obtain a REGISTRATION NUMBER from USHJA. A registration number for each horse must be entered on all entry forms for licensed competitions. Proof of registration must be presented to show secretary before numbers can be released. Copies maybe sent in with entry form. MEASURMENTS: Please advise office of any horses and/or ponies requiring measurement. Any horse/pony that cannot present a measurement card will be required to present themselves for measurement at the times posted in the office to have their horse/pony measured. ATTIRE: It is compulsory for ALL riders in all Hunter, Jumper and Hunt Seat Equitation classes, where jumping is required and when jumping anywhere on the competition grounds, to wear properly fastened protective headgear which meets or exceeds ASTM standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. It must be properly fitted with harness secured. It is in the tradition of the competition ring that riders be correctly attired for the class in question. Formal attire is required, unless Management permits Hunter or Hunter Seat Equitation riders to ride without jackets. All must have headgear on and fastened while mounted anywhere on grounds. RIBBONS/TROPHIES/CHAMPIONSHIPS: All classes will receive a trophy and ribbons through eighth place. Each section will receive a Champion and Reserve award on points earned. Full championship points will be given in all classes in each hunter section except Green & Reg. Conformation Hunter Model, which will count as half points. In all hunter and jumper sections, Champion and Reserve will be awarded to two of the top four horses acquiring the most points over fences. In hunter classes these four horses will also receive points for under saddle class. JUMPERS: Ties in Jumper classes will jump off for first place only. Ties for all other places will be determined by fastest time in first round among those with an equal number of faults. Ties for Champion and Reserve Champion will remain tied. NOMINATING FEE: There is a $150 Nominating Fee for all horses entered in classes 1.0M and higher. Exception: Pony Jumpers. There is no Nominating Fee for horses who enter only classes below 1.0M. All Jumper Divisions will be awarded Champion and Reserve Champion. 8

JUMP ORDER/RING CONFLICTS: It is the exhibitor s responsibility to follow posted jump orders and/or check in when necessary. Management will designate priority rings on a daily basis. Paddock masters have the authority to scratch exhibitors not in compliance with this policy. Add/Scratch slips must be presented to the paddock master prior to the start of the class. FOOTING/ARENA DIMENSIONS: Ring 1 (climate controlled) is 260 x 180, associated warm up is 80 x 190. Ring 2 is 210 x 110, associated warm up is 100 x 200. Ring 3 is 210 x 110, associated warm up is 100 x 200. Footing in all arenas is dirt sand mix. SCHOOLING: Hunter Rings will be open for schooling on the day prior to the show. Rings may also be open before and after the show, each day, for hacking (TIME PERMITTING). Times will be posted or announced. Jumping will be permitted only when medical personnel are on the grounds. POLING: Manual poling and use of bamboo offsets are prohibited at all times on the show grounds. In the event of a violation of this regulation, the involved horse, owner, rider, and trainer of record may be suspended from further competition at the show where the violation occurred. DRUGS AND MEDICATIONS: Current USEF rules relating to drugs and medications will be enforced. Each showing horse must pay a $2.00 USHJA Zone Support fee and a $8 Drug/Medication fee plus an $8 USEF fee. TOTAL USEF/ USHJA FEES PER SHOWING HORSE IS $18.00. Non-showing horses must still pay the $8 D/M fee. MOTORIZED VEHICLE STATEMENT Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. PETS: Pursuant to USEF rules: Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on leash or otherwise contained. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to monetary fines as well as issuance of warning cards. 9

CHANGES: Management reserves the right to make changes to its list of officials and/or to cancel, combine, add, delay, and reschedule classes in the best interest of the Event and its operations. RESPONSIBILITY: Submission of entry to this show constitutes an agreement to the following: Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Tulsa Expo Center and GO Tulsa show officials against any claims, demands, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees for the defense thereof, arising from the conduct or management of Exhibitor s business or its use of the premises or from any breach on the part of Exhibitor of any conditions of this Agreement, or contractors, agents, employees, guests, or invitees in or about the premises. In case of any action or proceeding brought against Tulsa Expo Center and Go Tulsa Show Management by reason of any such claim. Exhibitor, upon notice, covenants to defend such action or proceeding by council acceptable to owner. Exhibitor is responsible for his/her own property and Tulsa Expo Center and GO Tulsa Show Management are not responsible for accidents, fire, or theft. Mail Entries To: Grant Ellis 2608 S. If the prize money recipient is not present to sign the form, it can be returned to GO within 14 days and all prize money will be mailed.
