Together with a National Panel Judge Greg Goss, National Panel Showing Judge and Provincial A Dress Judge from Gauteng for the Potential in hand & saddle classes. ALL HORSES MUST WEAR THE USUAL BRIDLE NUMBERS AT THE SHOW for dress classes and will be issued with a larger show number to be worn on the back of the riders jacket at the show for in hand and saddle classes Riders please to collect them from the show office on the day 2. All horses are to be 7 years and younger as at 30 th June 2016 3. Show holder reserves the right to combine/cancel classes should there be a short of entries 4. Should entries warrant further division of classes, this may be done by and/or sex of the horse 5. Although ungraded, the competition will be held SAEF, and DSA rules. 6. Young Dress classes 1-5, entries may be limited to 40 tests per arena per day and it is suggested you enter early as entries will be on a first come first serve basis 7. Riders who supply their legible email address on the entry form will be emailed their riding times by the 16th March, 2016 8. Neither SAEF, DSA, CDE or the SDRC or any of their officials will be held responsible for accidents, injury, dam, loss or illness to horses, persons or personal property arising from any cause whatsoever at this show. 9. A copy of the horse s passport number if available (a SAEF passport is not compulsory to enter this show) and or birth date and up-to-date inoculations must be included in the entry. If your horse does not have a passport, its travel documents with all inoculations must be brought to the show 10. Sickness and Flu Vacs must be valid for the show. Passports/travel documents may be checked by the Show
Organizers on arrival at the show. 11. For interest and information to the spectators please include the breeding and sire and dam of your horse, this will be published in the program for the show 12. The show holders reserve the right to change judges in any category should the need arise. After each horse and rider combination the judges will give feedback on the presentation. For the 4, 5 and 6 year old classes, marks will be given for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression. For a more complete outline of what is looked for, please refer to the FEI Directives for Judging of Young es. The 7 9 year olds will be judged and scored as a normal, complete test. CLASSES: 1. Dress tests may be ridden with or without a caller. 2. Whips and/or spurs are permitted in ALL classes. 3. 4, 5 and 6 year old horses to be ridden in snaffle bridles ONLY. 7 9 year olds may be ridden in a snaffle or simple double bridle. 4. 4, 5 and 6 year old horses must remain in the arena directly after completing their tests to receive feedback from the judges. 7 9 year old horses may leave the arena upon the completion of their test.
