TECHNICAL INFORMATION Neutral breakdown service For each start of the road race (Friday), a neutral vehicle will follow the pack or the breakaway group as the case may be. Each coach may provide wheels for this breakdown service. A breakdown service area is provided for the time trials and criterium. Please keep to this ZONE, which will be clearly marked. (Near the Start/Finish line.) Passage lane for the time trials As each athlete will have to complete more than one lap during the time trials, they will have to make sure to use the proper lane. The right-hand lane is the Start lane; The centre lane is the racing lane; The left-hand lane is the Finish lane. The above information is critical since no time will be registered if the athlete does not use the left-hand lane at the finish. Cycle storage As all athletes requiring transportation will be housed at the same place, a truck will be at their disposal daily to move the cycles to the race site. It is your responsibility to bring your cycle to the truck at the set time for the start of each race (see further) and following your race. The truck will be kept at the hotel and locked; you can leave your cycles in it or bring them to your room. Training The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve remains partly open to the public at all times. You can train in that section only at any time; however, be aware there will be other cyclists on the course. The Complexe Claude-Robillard course will be opened for training on Sunday, from 10:15 to 10:30 as well as 15 minutes prior to each start. It is strictly forbidden to use the course at any other times. Number patches Two number patches as well as a frame number plate will be given at registration. You keep the same number for the duration of the event. Information regarding the proper way to wear the number patches for each event:
*for tandems, only the stocker wears the number patches. Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve The first number patch must be placed above the left pocket, the upper edge not exceeding the seam. The second number patch must be placed on the right pocket, the left edge not exceeding the seam. Hand cyclists: the hand cyclists must place a number patch on the left leg (on left side) and one on the upper back or on the backrest. Complexe Claude-Robillard The first number patch must be placed above the right pocket, the upper edge not exceeding the seam. The second number patch must be placed on the left pocket, the right edge not exceeding the seam.
