All events will be on a strict timetable system. Competitors who are not ready to play at the time for which their match is scheduled will be scratched. 5.0 MEDALS Medals will be awarded to all winners, runners-up and 2 losing semi-finalists. 6.0 EVENTS Event U17 U15 Men s Singles 4 entries 4 entries Women s Singles 4 entries 4 entries Men s Doubles 2 entries 2 entries Women s Doubles 2 entries 2 entries Mixed Doubles 2 entries 2 entries **Host organizers will be entitles to enter maximum of 8 entries for each SINGLES and 4 entries for each DOUBLES**. 7.0 AGE ELIGIBILITY All players must be under 17 years old throughout the calendar year of the tournament. i.e. born on or after 1 st January 2000. All players must be under 15 years old throughout the calendar year of the tournament. i.e. born on or after 1 st January 2002. All players shall be born on or before 31 st December 2005. All players MUST have a BWF Player s ID before submission of the entries. Players without BWF ID should contact their respective National Association. The National Association is responsible for the creation of New BWF ID s for their members. 8.0 ENTRIES TIMELINE The closing date for entries submission will be Tuesday, 6 th September 2016. All entries must be in order of respective National Rankings. All members associations must log on to http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=cf9d94e2-2edb- 4696-A9FA-5792B2A149D4 and submit entries.
9.0 SCORING POINTS All events will be played using the best of 3 games of 21 rally points. The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton, and BWF Competition Regulations. 10.0 KEY DATES Seeding Thursday, 15 th September 2016 Withdrawals without Penalty Sunday, 18 th September 2016 Draw Tuesday, 20 th September 2016 - Withdrawal:- Withdrawals must be informed by an e-mail to belleng@badmintonasia.org as soon as possible. Withdrawals prior to the tournament, must be accompanied by an appropriate certification. Withdrawals after Sunday, 18 th September 2016 will be processed in the Team Managers Meeting. Withdrawals after the draw is made due to illness or injury must be supported by a medical certificate. The Team Managers shall attend any briefings and meetings called by the Referee. It is compulsory that all team managers must attend the team managers meeting.failing to attend the meeting they are liable to be fined as per regulation Part III Section 1B, Appendix 11 Offences and Penalties.Member Associations can
make a request someone to represent them at the meeting as long as the Referee knows in advance that is acceptable. Important Note: Badminton Asia reserve the right to determine the size of the draw accordingly based on the number participating teams. 13.0 TEAM MANAGER MEETING Date : Tuesday, 4 th October 2016 Time : 3pm 4pm (15.00 16.00 Local Time) Venue: Multifunction Room GOR Djarum Jati-Kudus 14.0 TECHNICAL AND UMPIRES BRIEFING Date : Tuesday, 4 th October 2016 Time : 4pm 5pm (16.00 17.00 Local Time) Venue: Multifunction Room GOR Jati-Kudus 15.0 CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING Colored Clothing and advertising on clothing will be permitted as per the following Advertising Regulation to the BWF Grand Prix Tournaments will be applied:- Mandatory Clothing Regulations Player s Name and Country Name at the back of the shirt is Mandatory from the first day. It s Mandatory for double pairs to be wearing pair colors from the first day. It is Mandatory that the opposing players in each match wear significantly different colors from each other from the Quarter Finals onwards. 16.0 EQUIPMENT VICTOR is the official Equipment supplier in the Championships. 17.0 TEAM S ARRIVAL All participating Teams must arrive at least 24 hours before the start of the first Scheduled match. 18.0 COUNTRY FLAG It is COMPULSARY for all teams to bring their own country flag of this size : (100 x 150cm). 19.0 ON-COURT DOCTOR An on-court doctor will be on duty throughout the competition at the tournament venue. 20.0 SUBSIDIES Organizer will provide 5 twin rooms (up to 10 people) with breakfast for each team for maximum of 6 nights and food subsidy USD10.00 per player for a maximum of 6 players per team for a maximum of 6 days. Badminton Asia will assist participating teams from developing countries ONLY with airfares subsidies. Airfare subsidy is for a team of 6 players and 1 officials, subsidy shall be reduced proportionally if the country has less than 7 person. 21.0 OFFICIAL HOTEL HOTEL 1. 22.0 PRACTICE SCHEDULE The Organizers will prepare and overall equitable practice schedule, taking into consideration of the size and arrival details of each team and Kindly submit the Practice Request Form as attached and send it to: Raventus by e-mail : raventus@djarum.com not later than Monday, 19 September 2016 23.0 TRANSPORTATION Airport transport will be provided ONLY from Achmad Yani International Airport of Semarang to the official hotel upon request only. Please complete the transportation form to Raventus by e-mail : raventus@djarum.com, not later than Monday, 12 September 2016. 24.0 VISA APPLICATION Players and Officials who require VISA to enter INDONESIA and needing assistance, Kindly submit the visa form as attached to Yati Hariadji by email: sekjen@pbsi.or.id not later than Monday, 5 September 2016 You must apply for your Visa at least 30 working days before it is needed, to allow time for your application to be processed. A copy of passport photo page is compulsory with the form. Please make clear which city you plan to pick up the visa Please note, the letter of invitation we provide does not guarantee for the Visa Approval to Indonesia and the final decision is made by the Indonesian Embassy in your country. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that they apply for their visa in sufficient time. Any issues with the visa application need to be dealt with directly to the Embassy who is dealing with your application. We accept no responsibility for withdrawals made due to late visa applications. Alternatively, you are also advised to apply INDONESIA visa through your local travel agency, which proves to be more fast and convenient. 25.0 ACCREDITATION Please complete and submit the accreditation form to Raventus by e-mail: raventus@djarum.com no later than Monday, 12 September 2016. 26.0 INSURANCE By sending the entry for the tournament clearly signify acceptance Associations and its delegated competitors / officials to the indemnity and not hold the organizing
committee accountable for and or to have any recourse against any costs, claims and damages for personal illness, injury death, financial loss, death or property damage, in any form at any location arising out of or in any way resulting from the participation in, postponement or cancellation of the said tournament. The organizer will NOT be responsible for any illness, injury sustained, at any time, by any player or official arising from his / her participation in these Championships. Any costs incurred for diagnosis, consultancy, and medical treatment (including any form of surgical procedure) and / or hospitalization shall be borne by the Member Association of the player / official concerned. Please ensure that your players & team officials possess the requisite insurance coverage to meet current requirements.
