The competition will begin Tuesday, November 1 and will continue until Monday, November 21. Each team will have their own box located in the Amenities Center Gymnasium Foyer and the Clubhouse Foyer. Show pride for your team while supporting a great cause! Let the games begin! The winner will be announced on Friday, November 25. May the odds be ever in your favor! Stamp-A-Stack is the process of making 2 each of 4 different designs of cards for a total of 8 cards. All card material is precut and assembled by learning a special stamping technique. Drop in anytime to craft with us! Family Dinner Nights at Alexander s Every Thursday Adults, $11++ Children (ages 5-12), $2.50++ Join us every Thursday for our new weekly family dinner nights! Away Game Watch Party: USC @ UF Saturday, November 12 TBD Are you ready for some football? Join us in Alexander s and pull up a chair to the bar to watch the Gamecocks take on the Gators in The Swamp. Show your spirit; wear your garnet and black! A special game day tailgate menu as well as the full restaurant menu will be available during the event. Operation Christmas Child Packing Party / Drop Off Thursday, November 17 5:30-7 p.m. Tis the season of giving! A simple gift can change the lives of less fortunate children all over the world. This year s National Collection Week is November 14-18, so join us on the 17th in the South Lobby to put together a box! We will provide the boxes and boy/girl age labels! More information will be sent out closer to the event. Kids Movie Night: Ice Age Collision Course Friday, November 18 6:30-9 p.m. $10++ per person (ages 5-12) Join us in the Amenities Center Gymnasium for November s Movie Night! Pizza, cookies and drinks will be served at 6:30 p.m. prior to the movie beginning at 7 p.m. Popcorn will be sold during the movie for $1 per bag. This event is limited to the first 15 kids who sign up. Once all spots are filled, a waiting list will be started and those on the list will be notified should someone in the original 15 have to cancel. This ensures proper staffing and for the right amount of food to be prepared for your children. Walk-ups will be turned away. Kids are allowed to bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets and stuffed animals to help make them comfortable during the movie. Electronic devices (cell phones for parental contact are ok), toys, or anything else of this nature are not allowed as they can cause commotion and are a distraction. Thank you for your cooperation. Let the Club Do the Work! Cobblestone Park got into the fall spirit on Thursday, October 6. We have some very creative members and residents who joined us for this event and took home some pumpkin masterpieces! Cobblestone Park Thanksgiving Thursday, November 24 Seating Times: 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. Adults, $22.95++ Children (ages 5-12), $9.95++ Celebrate what you are thankful for this holiday season with your fellow members. Join us for fellowship and a buffet of turkey day favorites! Menu coming soon.

Enjoy an a la carte menu with several breakfast favorites or select an entrée off of the regular restaurant menu on the Sundays we are not hosting a Sunday Brunch Buffet. The buffet will be offered the last Sunday of every month moving forward with the exception of holiday brunches (i.e. Brunch with Santa, Easter Brunch, Mother s Day Brunch). TENNIS Amenities Center News Just because the pool is closed doesn t mean we don t have activities to participate in. The fun is still going at the AC. Beginning in November, we will be starting our winter open gym nights. We will be offering some new activities this winter for adults and teens. Here is the full schedule. Sundays: Mondays: Men s Open Gym YOGA Saturday Mornings 9 a.m. Clubhouse Members, $8 per class Non-Members, $10 per class Whether you re a beginner or have been practicing for years, Beth Steffens is ready to help you discover all of the benefits yoga has to offer! Class is offered every Saturday morning except for the last Saturday of each month. Don t Miss the Next Social Tuesdays: Teen Open Gym Wednesday: Thursday: Pickleball Saturday: We look forward to seeing you in the Gymnasium for these events. More information to follow in our weekly e-blasts. Tennis News We had an excellent turnout for our annual Halloween Member-Guest Tennis Social. It was a great time with great food and great tennis! Check out the pictures on Facebook and Instagram. Don t miss our next tennis social on Sunday, November 20 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. It is our annual Member Appreciation Tennis Social. We will ask that all participants bring a pot luck dish while we supply the turkey to get in the mood just before Thanksgiving. It ll be a one day tournament for all ages and levels. We look forward to seeing you there! Cobblestone Park hosted a free Women s Self-Defense Class on Tuesday evening, September 20 and had a great turn out! A big thank you to resident, Phil Orr, for donating his time and service to help keep our members safe! FITNESS Personal & Group Training Angela Russell is a personal trainer with a certification with AFAA (American Aerobics and Fitness Association). She has worked as a personal trainer, Youth Fitness Coach, and group exercise instructor.
