Cherry Burton Golf Club was developed by the current owners in 1993 and has since established into a popular 9 hole, 3,420 yard (Par 36) course in a beautiful location, close to the Minster town of Beverley. The course is laid out over approximately 18.87 hectares (46.62 acres) and includes a practice area, driving range and Club House with facilities. Cherry Burton Golf Course is now offered for sale due to the impending retirement of the owners. Location Cherry Burton Golf Club is well located approximately 3 miles north west of Beverley which has a population of approximately 30,000. The club has road frontage to Miles Lane which connects to the B1248 Malton to Beverley Road. The A1079 is less than 2 miles from the Golf Club and is the main road link between the cities of Kingston upon Hull approximately 12 miles south and York approximately 28 miles north west. Cherry Burton Golf Course The golf course opened in 1993 and is designed as a 9 hole course with the option to play 18 holes from two alternative tees on each hole. The undulating course is ideal for golfers of all abilities with a variety of par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes and has a good mix of maturing copses, bunkers and water hazards throughout. The course is available to play by members or on a pay and play basis. Club House Situated in the south eastern corner of the golf course the Club House was originally constructed in 1993 and developed further in 2001. The Club House is constructed of brick under a concrete tile roof and includes: Entrance/Lobby Lounge Bar (Licensed Bar) Pro Shop Ladies changing room with lockers, showers and w.c Male changing room with lockers, showers and w.c Kitchen The landscaped car park is located east of the Club House with additional grass parking, used during peak periods. Practice Facilities/ Driving Range Adjacent to the Club House is a floodlit 150 yard driving range with chipping target and a practice green with bunker. The 6 bay driving range was constructed circa 2001 and consists of a timber framed building with side cladding, plastisol roof sheets and concrete floor and is located close to the club house. Greenkeeper s Facilities The existing Green Keeper s facilities are included in the boundaries of an adjoining residential property to the west which is occupied by one of the course owners (see separate sales particulars).
