Hibiscus Recreation Center The Villages Shrine Club The Villages Shrine Club Meets on the second Tuesday of every month except July and August. Social Hour starts at 6:00 pm with a short meeting beginning at 7:00 pm. Our meetings usually last about one hour. Dress is Club shirt and FEZ. Ladies are always welcome at our meetings. The Al Kora Shrine Ladies Let s not forget the Ladies. The Al Kora Shrine Ladies also raise a lot of money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Shrine Club Nobles are certainly aware that they re a tremendous help in every one of our Shrine Club functions. THANK YOU LADIES! Here are some of the things that they do: Help the Shrine Club Nobles in all their activities Have a yearly Garage Sale Sell Christmas Tree Ornaments Bake and Sell Cookies at meetings and gettogethers Sponsor a play at the Melon Patch Theater in Leesburg Work (Belk Charity Day) Work (Chili s Give Back Day) All the money that they bring in goes to help the Kids at the Hospitals. They re mentioned all over the country by Shriners International as the model for how a Shrine Ladies Club should work. The Al Kora Shrine Ladies Monthly Meeting takes place on the Fourth Tuesday of the Month at the Cottage Inn Restaurant on Route 27/441, just a little South of Route 466. The meeting starts at 10:30 with lunch to follow. All Masonic Ladies are cordially invited and encouraged to attend.
Shrine Club Working Events Sam Swope Charity Motorcycle Ride We Ride So Kids Can Walk. Join us for the Annual Sam Swope Charity Ride - one of the area s most exciting charity events on two wheels Leesburg BikeFest The World s Largest Motorcycle and Music Event packed into 30 blocks for 3 days with Over 60 Concerts, 200 Vendors, Amazing Bike Shows, 5 Venues and a Quarter Million People! The Yellow Jacket Scooter Club Several of the Shriners in The Villages Shrine Club ride Cruzin Coolers in Villages Parades and in Parades in the surrounding area of The Villages. They do this to let people know about Shriners Hospitals for Children and to let them know that The Villages Shrine Club is right here in The Villages.
Phil Dirt and the Dozers Concerts The Villages Shrine Club supports this group because they give a generous portion of their concert income to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. This group comes to The Villages two or three time a year. Because of a Shrine connection to one of the band members, they support the Shriners Hospitals whenever they re in town. We re there with them at the Savannah Recreation Center to welcome people coming to see the shows and thank the people for their support. Phil Dirt and the Dozers have donated almost $150,000.00 over the years to help the Kids at the Shriners Hospitals for Children and we do everything we can to support them.
Paper Crusade Drives Shrine Club Fundraisers In the Spring and Fall, The Villages Shrine Club has a Paper Crusade Drive that benefits the Shriners Hospital for Children. The objectives of the Paper Crusade are as follows: To inform the public about Shriners Hospitals and the Children we treat. To find local children that may need care and treatment which is provided without financial obligation at our Shriners Hospitals for Children To raise funds for Shriners Hospitals through voluntary donations.
