Official Swim Trainings Lake of Peyrolles. Saturday from 11:00 am after the IronKIDS. At the end of this training, a buffet will be proposed by the municipality of Peyrolles.

Registration on spot Look at your race number displayed. Show your ID and your valid Triathlon license. Or buy a one-day-license: medical certificate + 60. Check your personal data. A volunteer fixe your ATHLETE wristband to your wrist. Pick up your Race package.

ATHLETE Wristband Each competitor will receive his/her race numbered wristband at Registration on spot. The wristband will be immediately attached to the wrist of the athlete by a volunteer. The wristband must be kept at your wrist from your registration on spot to the awards Ceremony, Heroes Night, on Sunday 25th September.. The wristband will allow you access to : - The lake of Peyrolles for training. - The bus on Sunday morning. - Bike park. - Transition areas. - Heroes Night.

Check In place and schedules The Check In is from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Leave your bike and your Transition bag BIKE at the lake of Peyrolles. Leave your Transition bag Run at Avenue des Belges at Aix en Provence. You can leave your bags in the order of your choice!

Check In access There are several ways to go to Peyrolles Check In: On your own Arrow signs will be put during the 20 kms that separate Peyrolles and Aix en Provence. A free shuttle takes you back to Aix en Provence.

Check In access With one of the shuttles provided by the organization (these shuttles can be used by the accompanists). 4 shuttles will run between Aix and Peyrolles (start each 30 minutes from La Rotonde). 1 st departure to Peyrolles at 9:30 am. Last return to Aix set at 4:30 pm. Athletes wishing to transport their bike to Peyrolles have to leave it on Saturday till noon at the Expo Village. They recovered it at Peyrolles at 2:00 pm (bikes kept and watch by the organization).

1 - Entry Check In Peyrolles Enter of Bike Park: With your helmet on your head and the chinstrap closed. Brakes will be checked. Handlebars will be checked. Helmet will be checked. NB: Wear constantly the wristband ATHLETE that you received during your registration on spot. Info: aerobars allowed

Bike safety Actions for your bike security: A photo will be taken of each athlete with his bike at the Check-in. At the Check-out after the race, the photo will verify the legal owner of the bike. Transition Area will be video-observed at all times. Please help us to keep an eye on suspect situations regarding theft of bikes report to the security staff! Caution! In the past, bikes have been stolen OUTSIDE the transition area, be careful and do not leave your bike alone, always lock it or keep an eye on it!

Check In Peyrolles Park your bike on the rack corresponding to your race number. You can clip your bike shoes on the bike (or you put them in the BIKE bag). Your helmet must be inside the BIKE bag. Memorize your bike location.

Check-In Transition Peyrolles Go to the Transition. Leave your BIKE bag (a volunteer will help you).

Exit Check In Peyrolles You will be body marked with your race number. You will pickup your timing chip when leaving the Transition area. Each athlete is responsible for his/her own intermediate and end time registration. The timing chip must be wear throughout the entire race around the ankle. The timing chip is the only way to recover the bike.

Check In Transition Aix en Provence Go to the Transition Area located at Avenue des Belges. Hand in you RUN bag with help of a volunteer and memorize the location.

Peyrolles access on D Day In order to facilitate access and reduce pollution and traffic jam caused by the event, buses are provided by the organization. Departure at 5:30 am from La Rotonde to Peyrolles Caution: these buses are only for athletes!

Before 6:00 am Don t forget your SWIM bag and the timing chip!

SWIM bag Contains everything the athlete will need before and after the race (clothes to change). ATTENTION : Do NOT put any thing necessary for the race (ex : 2 nd race number, swim cap,...). You will pick up your SWIM bag after the FinishLine at Aix en Provence and then you could wear clean clothing after the race. Deposit SWIM bag on race day from 7:00am to 7:30am before to go to the lake.

6:00am 7:30am Enter in the Bike Park (like at the Check In). Check the pressure of your tires. Toilets in the Bike park. You must exit of the Bike Park at 7:30am! Do NOT leave anything in the Park.

7:00am 7:35am SWIM Start: Go to the start on the beach Wear swimcap with the number on the left Place yourself in the start section. Warmup on the right of the start. End: 7:35am Sandals/shoes are not allowed in the start area. The start will be done in the water.

1,9km, Lake of Peyrolles

Horaires: 7:50 am Pro 7:55 am Age Group 8:05 am Relay Start in the water, one loop. Cutoff time: 1h10 after the start.

SWIM Rules Do not swim with your start number. Official Swim caps provided by the organizer MUST be worn. It is permitted to swim in a wet-suit up to a water temperature 24 C. In case it is forbidden to swim in a wet-suit, the athletes may only wear a swim suit with FINA certification. Wearing more than one swim suit is forbidden. The wetsuit must be taken off only in the transition tent. It s not permitted to wear socks or gloves during the SWIM.

Pick up your BIKE bag. TRANSITION 1 SWIM BIKE Change yourself inside the tent. If you have to undress completely make it into the transition tent, otherwise you could change you outside! You must put your swim equipment in your BIKE bag. When leaving the tent, DROPOFF your bag in the DROPOFF zone.

TRANSITION 1 SWIM BIKE Close the chinstrap of your helmet. Pick up your bike and push it to the exit. You mount on your bike once you left the Bike Park.

90km, Aix hinterlands

BIKE rules On Sunday morning, modifications on your forbidden. wheels are You must constantly wear your helmet with the chinstrap closed. The race number must be visibly worn on your lower back. Respect the traffic rules. Ride on the right, do not cut the corners. Escorting (car, motorbike, bike,...) and assistance are forbidden. Respect the drafting zone. Do not block the road to a competitor. Always ride on the far right of the right lane of the road.

NO DRAFTING The distance between two athletes (Drafting zone) is 7m (front tire to back tire). Any competitor progressing in the Drafting zone must do that firmly on an axis parallel to the competitor positioned in front otherwise he will receive a black card = 4 min in penalty box. You must mandatory stop to the penalty box located at Transition 2 to do your penalty. The marshal will mark your race number. If you do not go to the penalty box: The first time, you will receive a penalty of 10 minutes The second time, you will be disqualified.

Penalty Box - Prison 1 penalty box located in the Transition 2 at Aix en Provence.

BIKE 90 km A sweeper bus will indicate the last possible finisher position on the bike course. If the sweeper bus overtakes you, you will be disqualified. The driver will take your start number. Then you have two possibilities: Take the bus to return to Aix with your bike. Finish the bike course under your own responsibility (roads will be open to the public traffic!).

ECO ZONES Throw away your bike bottles and packagings only in the eco zones at the beginning and at the end of each aid station BIKE and RUN. Otherwise you will receive a penalty.

TRANSITION 2 BIKE RUN Dismount your bike before entering in the Bike Park. Give your bike to the volunteer waiting for you in front of an empty rack he will park the bike for you in order of arrival. Take your RUN bag, change in the tent if you need to undress completely. Put your bike equipments in the bag and drop off it in the DROPOFF zone when leaving the tent.

Penalty If you receive a black card during the BIKE, you have to do your penalty. Go to the Penalty box and wait until the end of your penalty. After your penalty, you can change and start your run!

21,1 km, Aix en Provence

RUN 21.1km 3 laps. One aid station every 1.7km. The athlete have to his wristband ( chouchou ) at the end of each loop to prove that he passed the different loops; it's the athlete responsibility to ensure he collects the bands himself. Before entering the finish line, the athlete must have collected 3 chouchous Cutoff Time: 8h30 after the start

RUN Rules Wear the race number visibly at your front. If you use a start number belt, the start number have to be secured in three points minimum and the belt must be positioned below the waist. The athlete must have a racing suit in conformity (not to run naked torso, tri-function opened only till the lower sternum and keep the straps on the shoulders,...). Escorting (bike, roller, runner,...) and assistance are forbidden.

Bike Park & Transition Avenue des Belges Aix en Provence

Check Out 1:30pm 6:00pm Pick up your Transition bags Run and Bike. Caution: Check your time of arrival after the bike course at the entrance of the bike park. Go to the row corresponding to your time of arrival after the bike course. Pickup your bike. When leaving the park, you have to give back your timing chip No chip = No bike!

After race information Results displayed at the Info Stand at the Expo Village after the race. Download your Finisher certificate and your Finisher picture on line the day after the race. Lost & Founds at the Info Stand.

General rules It is forbidden to: Cut or fold your start number? Use a walkman, ipod, mobile phone etc Get help from a third. Get race provisions outside of the official aid stations. Throw your wastes and bottles outside of Eco zones BIKE and RUN.

Penalties A penalty will be delivered by the marshal by : Whistling. shouting the start number of the athlete. shouting the fault done by the athlete. showing the penalty card (yellow, black or red). You are responsible to notice a penalty (There is NO excuse like I didn t hear anything!) You have to stop at the next penalty box

Eco Friendly Race course Ironman Pays d Aix has adopted a proactive and eco-friendly approach to racing. This simply means that disposing of rubbish on the course other than at Eco Zones will not be tolerated. Marshals will be specifically targeting offenders and penalties will apply.

Lost timing chip Abandon

If ever... You lose your timing chip, you can pick up a new one at the penalty box (transition tent). You need to give up, let a referee know you have given up. Your family might ask us at the Info Stand. Wait for the sweeper bus to take you back to Aix.

Las Vegas slots Heroes Night

Las Vegas Slots Ceremony Sunday 25th June (after the race) at 6:30pm at Centre des Congrès. You have to be present at the ceremony. 30 slots allocated. Identity card needed. $300 in cash (Price euros announced the race day).
