Note 14 Vocal music is not permitted in Free Style events but is allowed for the Event 34 Novelty Free. Note 15 Free Style music can be supplied on tape or CD only. Note 16 There is a limit of ten entries per event, per club. For additional entries, consider entries in the next higher standard event. Note 17 There will be presentations on both days of the competitions. Note 18 A Mix-and-Match will be considered after the Presentations each day subject to time. Note 19 Normal competitive ages will apply where necessary - as at 1 st January 2005. Note 20 All medal test standards must be supplied if there is an entry for that discipline. For all dance events this means that for any solo and partnered test standards, it must be the higher standard which is applied to the event(s) entered. Note 21 If there is a large number of entries for any event, the skaters will be split by age, standard, gender or draw. Skaters for whom no age or standard are supplied will be assigned to the highest category. Note 22 All competitors must have a 2005 Federation Membership Card and random checking will be performed on the day. Note 23 All standards are as at the weekend of the Festival and entries must be made accordingly. Any competitor with an outstanding application for a medal test must be entered assuming success. Note 24 The order of events will be identified once the entries are received. Events will be mixed throughout each day to give a balance of interest. Event numbers are for identification only. Note 25 The competition is held under FARS rules and regulations for which a Permit has been applied. - 8 -
