In January 2015 we decided to host a series of open trials in May 2015. We decided stop our usual monthly trials, due to the trials becoming too popular and oversubscribed. The May Trials will target players aged between 5 to 15 years old (school years 1-10) across London and neighbouring counties such as Essex and Hertfordshire. The PTSA Trials, to be held on the following dates and times. Saturday 16 th May 2015 Saturday 23 rd May 2015 (selected invitational players only) Please report registration Sat 16 th 10.45am (trial 12-2) for School Years 1-6 Please report registration Sat 16 th 12:45pm (trial 2-4) for School Years 7-10 Venue: Market Road Sports Facilities, Islington, London N7 9PL; Please fill the application form IN FULL and post to; Trials 2015 6-9 Manor Gardens, Islington N7 6LA. You must bring your moulded/astro-turf boots (no metal studs or moulds), shin pads, black or white football short and football socks (no tracksuit or ¾ tracksuits allowed) and along with 15 cash administration fee (nonrefundable). Every player will receive Pro Touch Soccer Academy Official T-shirt. (1) The Trial Day The structure of the day will consist, the various age groups participating in a structured and advanced coaching sessions and games programmes, which will last for 1 hour 45mins approximately. The session will be delivered by highly skilled, qualified and experienced Lead and Assistant Coaches of the respective age groups of the Academy teams.
(2) Injury & Illness Prior to Trial Day If this happens and occurs to you, then you must email trials@protouchsocceracademy.com stating your full name, school year and contact numbers. Following your email PTSA Management will be in contact will you shortly to discuss further options about possibly re-inviting you to another trial day/session. (3) Selection Process Those individuals impress their Head Coach will be asked to stay behind and train with the main elite Academy squad from 11am-12noon the same day, at no extra cost. The players who do not show the Coaches their full potential may be provided with another opportunity to attend the next available monthly trial session (but we can not guarantee this will happen). (4) Offered Terms with PTSA It will take approximately 3 4 assessments sessions before we can offer any player official agreement contract with our terms and condition with one of our Academy age groups (5/6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s and 15/16s. However in the past we have offered to sign outstanding gifted talented players on the day. If you are registered with a Sunday League Team or similar Academy programme, we will discuss how we overcome the situation on an individual case by case basis. (5) Video & Photography We will have our official video producer filming the trials for both PTSA promotional and marketing use as well as for Professional Clubs to analysis and study players on display. Our official photographer will take professional shots and capture those very special moments, which can be purchased at a later date (details will be provided on the day) and will also be used in PTSA promotional and marketing materials. Pro Touch Soccer Academy can not be held responsible for any lost or damage to participate(s) belonging and also injuries caused during the trial training and matches throughout their time spent with PTSA. Once a player has been offered terms to register and signed agreement with PTSA, it s then when our Public Liability Insurance will kick into effect.

MARKET ROAD GLL TRAINING GROUND The nearest Tube Station is Caledonian Road (Piccadilly Line) as shown on the map. However, at the bottom of the map, approx 15 minutes walk down York Way, is Kings Cross St Pancras Underground and Thameslink Stations or approx 10 minutes walk down Caledonian Road, is Caledonian & Barnsbury Thameslink. Bus numbers 390, 10, 274, 91, 17 and 259 are all close by from either Caledonian Road or York Way. All parking is subject to local restrictions e.g. street pay and display, as we cannot provide parking at the venue (however weekends it's free on single yellow or pay & display spaces).
