Remains atop the rankings with a convincing win over P&T. The Sun is still out and so are those Guns!! This week they are up against the Ballinators. Will they keep the streak alive? Kudos to SOGO for probably having the most people out of both leagues at the Summer Season party!! Shuts out Ballinators and is ready for the HUGE matchup against the Hoodies this week. This game will probably determine who the true second seed will be. Pitch Please playing some lock down D and very good offense right now. Will they keep it up against the Hoodies? Demolished KIOS last week, probably taking out their anger from last week s loss on this innocent team a week later. Allowed a few runs in garbage time but other than that are looking very good heading into an important matchup against Pitch Please. Right now if they win it would technically be an upset but we all know these teams are pretty evenly matched and a win would be HUGE for either team. Will the Hoodies have the defense that showed up Week 3 against SOGO and shut Pitch Please down, or will this be an offensive shoot out to see who scores the most runs? Currently on a two game losing streak- will they get out of it this week against KIOS? I m sure KIOS will have something to say about this, but whoever plays the game best under the Friday Night Lights will determine the outcome. P&T needs a win this week to keep them in that 4 spot heading into the final week and playoff time. Will they rally the troops and get the job done? Time will tell!! Being shut out this week against Pitch Please does not have their spirits down. Ballinators are still fired up and vow to finish the season strong! They too had very heavy representation at the Beach Bash and had a blast too! Ask em! Tough schedule for the Ballinators will have them well prepared for the playoffs; they just need to steal a win or two down the stretch to secure the 4 th or 5 th seed. Can they get it done? Coming off the high of getting that first win had this team distracted until late in the game against the Hoodies. Will they refocus and get that 2 nd and 3 rd win and finish out the season strong? *These are opinionated rankings that may or may not match true league standings. Ballinators How did you hear about WAKA? I was getting my pedi when a girl was wearing a WAKA Snappers t-shirt. I asked her how to join & play, the rest is history! What do you think about your WAKA experience thus far? I love it! Sometimes it can be a pain in the rear with not knowing all the rules, but I've met some really great people & had fun playing! Who are some of your favorite Athletes? Pete Sampras, Derek Jeter, Kelly Slater, David Beckham, & Magic! What did/do you want to be when you grew/grow up? A registered nurse or professional student & I have both! Relationship Status? Single What are some of your other hobbies besides kickball? Tennis, surfing, fishing off shore, riding beach cruisers, & cooking! Ff you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Hawaii or Bahamas, anywhere with water & warm breezes really! If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all that money? Buy my parents a new home with live in caregivers so my mom could enjoy retiree life! Buy a house in the islands & make sure lil' Finn is set for life! What was the last book you read? Bible, New Testament What has been the most interesting Entertainment news to you within the past 12 months? Casey Anthony's unremarkable jurors decisions! What superpower would you want if you had a choice? Ability to fly on a snaps notice, no changing clothes like Superman, too much work!
What superpower would you want if you had a choice? Russia. (Maybe I misunderstood the question) How did you hear about WAKA? At work. Our former captain, Courtney Rick, now in the Japanese league, was talking about playing adult kickball. Once I figured out she was serious I signed up. Been hooked ever since. Suns Out Guns Out How many seasons have you played? What teams? Any championships? Too many to remember. Played on Kicking Balls and Taking Names, Foot Clan, and SOGO. Still chasing that first championship. Came up a little short last season. What do you think about your WAKA experience thus far? It has been amazing. Not since elementary school in New Orleans have I been able to play kickball and drink beer at the same time. Who are some of your favorite Athletes? Ryan Giggs, Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Pharis. Pharis may be the most athletic non athlete I ve ever seen in my life. What did/do you want to be when you grew/grow up? I always wanted to be an astronaut. I guess I m glad I didn t do that since NASA is going out of business. Relationship Status? I m single ladies and have FANTASTIC legs. What are some of your other hobbies besides kickball? When I m not on the kickball field, I enjoy playing soccer and golf. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? London. I ve had a great time whenever I ve been there. If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all that money? Boring answer, but I probably save most of it. Then buy Snappers. What was the last book you read? Fall of Giants by Ken Follett. Who doesn t love historical fiction? What has been the most interesting Entertainment news to you within the past 12 months? Don t really follow entertainment news, but everybody likes a good Charlie Sheen story.
