Steve Martin PWHS CHARACTER COUNTS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Clare Goodman As a freshman, Clare is one of the top performing athletes on the Cross Country team. Her greatest asset to the team is her extremely positive attitude. Clare enjoys everything about her teammates and her classes. She can turn the greatest obstacle into a fun adventure. Her teammates have voted her laugh as the most contagious on the team. Clare is an ambitious young lady who has set lofty goals for herself. They include qualifying for State in Cross Country, attending an Ivy League school, and some day having a pet dog (not necessarily in that order). Congratulations Clare!

BOYS SOCCER by Sean O Brien Sept. 23, 2014 vs. Grafton, Sept. 25, 2014 vs. Milwaukee King The Pirates traveled to rival Grafton on Tuesday, September 23rd and unfortunately ran into a very talented Grafton squad. The Pirates lost 7-0 and were eager to get back in action on Thursday vs. Milwaukee king. On Thursday the Pirates dominated a talented Milwaukee King team winning 2-0. Scoring goals for the Pirates were Eli Olson with an assist from Jude Pargulski and adding to his point total for night was Jude Pargulski who got the 2nd goal just before half. Leading 2-0 at halftime the Pirates maintained possession and walked away with a shutout. Joe Reyes nearly got an early second half goal but sent the ball just over the bar. Another great team effort that brings the Pirates record to 7-7-3. Please join us in recognizing our seniors on Tuesday @ 6:45 as the Pirates host perennial powerhouse Whitefish Bay.
