Important Dates Rising 9th Graders DATE EVENT LOCATION TIME Tuesdays: January-April 1st Hillgrove Drumline Auditions Any rising 9th grader wishing to audition for Drumline or Front Ensemble must attend most if not all of these Tuesday clinic/auditions. The sections will be set by the end of March. 4/16/2013 Fall Band Placement Auditions 5:00pm - 9:00pm Rising 9th Graders who wish to audition for the Wind Symphony must attend these auditions to be considered. Students wishing to audition for the Symphonic or Concert 1 band will be heard at their middle school 4/15-4/19. 4/16/2013 New Member Parent Meeting 6:30pm-7:30pm This is an informational meeting for ALL families who will be a part of the 2012-13 Band Program (includes Concert Band Class, Marching Band, Colorguard, etc...) 4/18-19/2013 Taste of West Cobb Rehearsals All rising 9th graders are INVITED to perform with the marching band at Taste of West Cobb 2013!!! They are replacing what was formerly to be Summer Band Week 1. 7/22-30/2013 Summer Band Camp All Day Band camp will be Monday - Friday, and the following Monday and Tuesday. We will not rehearse Wednesday the 31st. We will rehearse in the afternoon of August 1st and have our end of summer cookout on August 2nd.
