Using the GHIN Handicap Allocation Utility with GHP Golfer In order to gather Hole by Hole (HBH) scores to be used with the GHIN Handicap Allocation Utility, the golf club must have individual tee information saved in the Home Courses section of GHP Club and HBH scoring must be set as a preference for posting. Log into GHP Club http://ghp.ghin.com/ghponline/club/logonclub.aspx Enter your association number, club number and password. To see the list of tees associated with a golf course, click the Tees link. Click on Scorecard to the right of the tees to set up the individual HBH information. The blank scorecard for the set of tees selected will display allowing you to enter the specific HBH information. The data can be entered manually by placing the cursor in the appropriate box under hole #1 and then proceeding to fill all boxes through hole #18. Each field does not need to be filled in at one time and all items do not need to be completed. If you do not want to add the Pace of Play information, it is not required to be filled in. Scorecard data can also be obtained from the USGA Course Rating Program (CRP). By selecting that button (see button below), the corresponding yardage and par will automatically populate. Page 2
A message will display confirming the data has been populated and click Save to retain the information. Please Note: Not all courses will have yardage and par information available. The yardage and par information populated is based on the official yardage calculated by your golf association and par is based on the USGA guidelines. These numbers may need to be adjusted manually to match the club scorecard, if desired. Copy Tee allows a user to select & copy desired data from one tee to another. First, click Scorecard next to the tee where you want the copied tee information to go. Secondly, click Copy Tee.
