ADVENTURE JUST AHEAD Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a one-of-a-kind experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers of all ages. Covering 10,000 acres of pristine Ozark Mountain landscape, the park has miles of crystal-clear trout streams, dozens of cascading waterfalls, ancient burial caves, unique hand-built bridges and bottomless, blue-green pools. The walls of the jagged ravines frame a dramatic valley bursting with hardwoods, evergreens and of course, the park s namesake Dogwoods, which are especially spectacular in the spring. The streams hold record trout, and the high meadows that reach into Arkansas provide pasture for small resident herds of long-horned cattle, American bison and elk. Acquired by Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris in 1990, the park is managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the canyon s natural plant and wildlife environment. The foundation promotes environmental conservation by maintaining the park and providing the public with an unspoiled setting for exploration and the enjoyment of various outdoor activities. There are literally dozens of activities, and all are familyfriendly and professionally managed. Those activities are identified and detailed in this brochure. We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you to Dogwood Canyon soon!

A TWO-WHEEL PARADISE WALK THIS WAY There is no better outdoor exercise than walking Dogwood Canyon s pedestrian-friendly trails. TRAIL RIDES Horseback riding at Dogwood Canyon presents an opportunity to experience the park in areas not seen by the tram or from walking and biking trails. Experienced wranglers guide guests on a leisurely ride while exploring ridges, hollows, old logging roads and other scenic views. Guests will get the opportunity to view the park like the first Missourians did from the saddle. Dogwood Canyon offers hour-long trail rides, or for more advanced riders, saddle up for an adventure on our Little Indian Advanced Horseback Ride. Reservations are required. Carriage Rides Horse-drawn carriages, reminiscent of a bygone era, carry guests on a ride through the canyon. Pass by trout filled streams, cascading waterfalls, the Hope Wilderness Chapel and much more. It s a romantic way to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary, or make it a family adventure and bring the kids along! Reservations are required. Please visit www.dogwoodcanyon.org or call 1.800.225.6343 for prices and offerings. Prices subject to change.

WILDLIFE TRAM TOURS Call it a ride on the wild side, if you will. Step aboard our comfortable, open-air trams and explore the beauty of Dogwood Canyon on our 2-hour Wildlife Tram Tour. You ll wind through the canyon floor, past towering bluffs and waterfalls, making a stop at the Glory Hole (a magnificent blue-green pool where some of our largest trout reside). Then cross the Arkansas border where your tram may mingle with herds of American bison, elk, whitetail deer and Texas longhorn. Reservations are recommended. Every Saturday, May through September, enjoy Dogwood Canyon in the evenings on a Dinner Tram Tour, complete with entertainment and dinner. Reservations are required. Please visit www.dogwoodcanyon.org or call 1.800.225.6343 for prices and offerings. Prices subject to change.
