OMAHA STORM CHASERS BASEBALL CLUB OFFICIAL GAME INFORMATION OMAHA STORM CHASERS 34-32, 3rd American Northern LHP John Lamb 6-1, 2.78 ERA (10 PCL Starts in 2015) UPCOMING PROBABLES June 19 @ Nashville - 7:05 p.m. CDT OMA RHP Yohan Pino (4-2, 4.93 ERA) NAS GAME 68 OF 144 ROAD GAME 36 OF 72 THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 2015 7:05 P.M. CDT FIRST TENNESSEE PARK LHP Brad Mills (2-7, 3.93 ERA) June 20 @ Nashville - 6:35 p.m. CDT OMA RHP Clayton Mortensen (4-5, 6.88 ERA) NAS RHP Chris Bassitt (2-5, 3.88 ERA) June 21 @ Nashville - 2:05 p.m. CDT OMA RHP Aaron Brooks (4-3, 3.42 ERA) NAS June 23 @ Iowa - 7:08 p.m. CDT OMA TBA IOW LHP Sean Nolin (1-0, 1.40 ERA) YESTERDAY S WIN: After being shutout in the first five innings by former Storm Chasers pitcher Felipe Paulino, the Omaha offense exploded for seven runs over their final three at-bats to take the finale with Iowa, and win the series in the first round of the I-80 Rivalry. Michael Mariot notched his fifth save (tied with Louis Coleman for the team lead), and has eight strikeouts in his last 3.0 innings pitched in two appearances. Danny Duffy struck out six over 3.2 innings in his second full MLB Rehab start, and has 10 strikeouts in 7.2 innings in the two starts. OMAHA AT NASHVILLE: In the last five seasons, Omaha has a record of 21-19 at Nashville (all at Greer Stadium). Over the past four seasons as the Storm Chasers have alternated winning and losing records in games at Nashville (2014: 3-5, 2013: 5-3, 2012: 3-5, 2011: 6-2). MORE THAN A YEAR: This is the first meeting of the season between the Storm Chasers and the Sounds. At this point in the season last year, Omaha and Nashville had completed their entire 16-game slate (actually finished it on May 22). That means it has been over a year since the two teams played a game, and the exact day total is 392 days since their last meeting. TWO NEW PARKS: This will be the second new ballpark the Storm Chasers have played in this season, as they took their first trip to Southwest University Park in El Paso earlier this season. The last time Omaha played in two new ballparks in a season was the 2000 season when they played at AutoZone Park vs the Memphis Redbirds and Raley Field vs the Sacramento River Cats. DIG THE LONG BALL: The Chasers lead the Pacific Coast League this month with 20 home runs, and rank second in long balls at 64 (trailing Fresno at 65). Omaha has three players with eight or more home runs this season (Cheslor Cuthbert, Brett Eibner, Francisco Pena) and are one of four PCL teams with three players at eight homers or more (Fresno, Iowa, Tacoma). LAMB CHOPS: John Lamb is one of nine pitchers in the league with six or more wins, and his ERA of 2.78 ranks eighth best in the Pacific Coast League. Although his one loss this season has come on the road, Lamb has a better ERA in road games (2.31) than home games (3.13). Omaha has won eight of the ten starts by Lamb, the best winning percentage for any starter. TBA STORM CHASERS NEWS & NOTES NASHVILLE SOUNDS 30-37, 4th American Southern RHP A.J. Pena was the first player in the Pacific Coast League this season to hit three homers in a game, ). With his four homers in the series, Pena is now tied for the league lead at five homers in June with Christian Villanueva of Iowa, Dan Johnson of Memphis, and Travis Taijeron of Las Vegas. 2015 STORM CHASERS BATTING LEADERS 2015 STORM CHASERS PITCHING LEADERS AVG R.
