GETTING AROUND NASHVILLE AIRPORT TO MURFREESBORO Driving: Take I-40 West to Nashville I-65/I-24, take I-24 E towards Chattanooga and Memphis. Approximate distance and drive time from Nashville: 29 miles, 32 min. Taxi service to Murfreesboro is about $65. Cabs are available from taxi stand on the ground level of the airport. Lyft and Uber are both active in Nashville. MURFREESBORO TO NASHVILLE Interstate 24 that leads from Nashville to Murfreesboro is a very heavily traveled interstate and you will experience some heavy delays during the week. Our advice is to avoid I-24 between 7:30am-9:00am and 3:30pm-5:30pm. Plan your trips to downtown Nashville accordingly. THINGS TO DO NASHVILLE Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The world s largest popular music museum offers ever-changing exhibits featuring the legends of country music past and today s hottest stars. Take a tour of Music Row and visit historic RCA Studio B, the famous recording studio where Elvis recorded more than 200 songs. Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins, Eddy Arnold, and many more recorded classic hits here. If you want to experience the fun and the music the only place you need to find is Broadway in downtown Nashville. There are music venues all along Broadway and it is hopping from 11:00am-3:00am in the summer. US GOLD CUP VIEWING Live streaming of the US Gold Cup games in the beer garden area at the Richard Siegal Soccer Complex on Wednesday and Saturday most likely will be broadcast. When does the tournament start? Games start on Wednesday morning for the Over 50 through Over 70 divisions. FAQs Open starts Friday afternoon. Women s Over 30 s & Men s Over 40 s start Thursday afternoon. ** Please note that Women s Over 40 will start games Wednesday afternoon.** How many players on the field? All division play 11v11 full sided games expect The Women s Over 65 and Men s Over 70 which play 8v8 on smaller field. Can we request different game times? Due to field availability and a number of teams participating we can not accept a request for different game times. How long are the games? Teams play 90-minute games (2x45min). Games could be shortened due to inclement weather. How many games do teams play in a day? Teams play one game per day in the Over 50 through 70 Divisions. Open, Over 30, and Over 40 Divisions teams could end up playing two games on Saturday depending on the number of teams registered. How many games are teams guaranteed? Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. How many players can I have on my team roster? Teams are allowed to have up to 25 players on their team pool. Can I play on multiple teams? Players can play on more than one team as long they meet the age requirement of the division and is not playing with another team in the same division. How many subs are teams allowed? Teams are allowed unlimited subs in all divisions.
