On the day of the event, we will assist you with all the logistics from registration to the first tee and from the 18 th green to the awards presentation. As you begin planning your outing, our team will be available to answer any questions that you may have. Amenities THE GOLF COURSE Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club course design is unlike any in the Houston area. The course features multiple tees for all levels of players, sod-wall bunkers with white sand and greens that are generous, subtle and approachable. The course is built among a multitude of hardwood trees, creeks, lakes, wetland terrain framed by native prairie grasses and wildflowers, providing exciting shot values. Tees, fairways, and roughs are GN-1, a hybrid Bermuda grass created by Greg Norman Turf with Floradwarf putting greens. Perimeter roughs are native grasses and wildflowers. THE CLUBHOUSE Perched above the 18 th green, the clubhouse possesses sweeping views of the golf course. Expressing the warmth and comfort of a Texas ranch, the clubhouse s interior includes an intimate lounge and restaurant, and men s and women s locker rooms. The expansive golf shop features the latest in golf apparel and equipment. The golf course and clubhouse were designed from the outset to compliment all amenities and services required for a successful event. FOOD & BEVERAGE Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club offers a variety of Food & Beverage products and services, both on the course and off. Our Food & Beverage Staff can accommodate your group with a Box Lunch before, after or during tournament play. Boxed lunches make a quick and easy meal for tournaments or choose to dine in the casual and comfortable atmosphere of the clubhouse restaurant and lounge which serves as a refuge from everyday concerns or as a place to relax. MERCHANDISE Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club offers one of the finest golf shops featuring an outstanding selection of apparel and golf related merchandise from today s leading manufacturers. Tournaments RESERVATION POLICY Groups of 16 players or more may reserve up to twelve (12) months in advance. Reservations will be secured only when the contract is signed and returned to the Club along with the Initial Deposit. Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club is a full service golf facility, equipped with a completely stocked golf shop, restaurant and lounge, snack bar, meeting room, driving range and two practice putting greens. Meadowbrook Farms features a world-class golf course designed by International and PGA Tour Professional, Greg Norman. Our friendly staff is able to assist you with all your merchandise selections as well as golf lessons and clinic needs. Event Formats Scramble This format is probably the most enjoyable type of tournament because only the best shots are played and the pace of the game is very fast. All players drive, the best ball is selected and all players take their next shots from that point. The process is repeated until the ball is "holed out." The team records one score. Gross scores can be used and handicaps are not required. The scramble format promotes easier and faster scoring. Best Ball This format may be played as 2, 3, or 4 person teams. Golfers play their own ball on each hole, and the lowest score is then recorded to be the team score. This format may be played with or without a golf handicap. This is usually a fun format with a medium pace of play. Results can be calculated quickly. Skins An individual play format: a "skin" is a point given to the player with the lowest score on each individual hole. Putting Contests Elaborate 3 to 5 hole course, usually held before the tournament to attract more players and add excitement to the tournament. This can also be used to raise additional funds for charity events. Longest Drive Prize awarded for the longest drive from the tee-box (in the fairway); normally played on the course's longest par 5. Shortest Drive Prize awarded for the shortest drive off the tee-box (in the fairway); normally played on the same par 5 as the longest drive contest. Closet to the Pin Prize awarded for the shot that comes to rest closest to the pin--played on a par 3. Straightest Drive A white line is placed down the middle of the fairway. The drive off the tee that comes to rest closest to the line is the winner; normally played on the course's last par 5. Longest Putt Prize awarded to the person who makes the longest putt on a specific green. This is typically played on a low handicap par 4. These contests are common among many outings. Upon request, the Tournament Sales Director can suggest creative contests, which will make your event both unique and memorable.

Policies & Procedures RENTAL EQUIPMENT Club rentals are available for men, women, and left-handed players. We carry Cobra rental sets that are all equipped with Odyssey putters. Club rentals are available at reasonable rates and we recommend that requests be made well in advance of your round. DRESS CODE In order to maintain our first-class facility level, we require a collared shirt and proper length shorts. T-shirts, denim and cutoffs are prohibited. Meadowbrook Farms Country Club is also a soft-spike facility. DEPOSIT, PAYMENT & FINAL GUARANTEE To confirm your reservation, a deposit and contract will be required. Deposits are 25% (nonrefundable) of the event estimate. A final guarantee is required 14-days prior to your event, with the remaining payment due on the day of play. We accept cash, checks, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
