Proudly presents the 2016 CSi Southport Olympic Twilight Meet LONG COURSE OPEN QUALIFYING MEET November 11 &12 th 2016 Electronic Timing, splits at both ends & Scoreboard, Grandstand Seating and plenty of space = fast swimming!!! This meet is a recognized A Grade qualifying meet and is sanctioned by Swimming Queensland. This OPEN style meet facilitates better racing as swimmers are seeded according to their entry times and not separated by age groups. DATE: Session 1 Friday 11 th November Session 2 - Saturday 12 th November TIME: Session 1 - Warm-up 5.00 pm / Start 6.00 pm Session 2 Warm up 4.15 pm / Start 5.00 pm VENUE: Gold Coast Aquatic Centre - Australia s newest International facility and venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. POOL ENTRY FEE: Adults $5.70 Children (15 & Under) $2.50 Swimmers & Coaches Free

NOMINATIONS CLOSE: Friday 4th November 5.00 p.m. AGE: ELIGIBILITY: ENTRIES: EVENTS: 50m EVENTS: As at Friday 11 th November Entry is open to any SQ competitive registered swimmer. Entries from other states or international swimmers will be accepted with clearance from their state or country s swimming body. All entries must be submitted through the swimmer s Club Race Secretary, either through Meet or Team Manager. Online entries are available link is on next page. Manual nominations will not be accepted. As per attached Program of Events. Timed Finals only will be swum in each event from 100m to 1500m. All 50m events will be run as a normal event. However, the fastest 6 will progress to the first round of SKINS. From there, the fastest 4 will progress to the next round. From there the fastest 2 swimmers will progress to the Final. Each round will be swum on a 3 minute cycle. Prize money will be awarded to the winner. SKINS PRIZE MONEY First Place $100, Second Place $50 vouchers Bonus Win Two Skins events receive additional $100 MEDAL AWARDS: RULES: 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd placing for each age group will be determined from the OFFICIAL times swum in the event. No medals for 50m Events. This is a No Rule Tolerance meet. Age Champions will not be recognised at this meet. SQ rules will apply. One start rule will applies. Feet first entry must be used for backstroke entry. Swim suits must comply with the current FINA regulations. Officials have the right to refuse a competitor to swim if their suit does not comply.

Bleacher seating will be provided for swimmers In accordance with SOSC s commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, SOSC will email all competing clubs a PDF copy of the Meet Program on Thursday November 10, clubs may distribute this as they wish to competitors. SOSC will provide all coaches with a hard copy of the program upon arrival at the pool. There will be no programs for sale on the day.
