Overview of Elliott Yachts The Elliott is a lightweight, high performance trailer sail or sports boat. It offers a unique combination of performance and easy handling. The Elliott has a simple but powerful sail plan and clean hull lines that has created a boat that is able to race at the front of the fleet and also be cruised comfortably. The RTC uses the Elliott s for all our Adult Training programs. They are also used for our Adult Race Coaching programs and our Young Adult programs (18 30 year olds). The Elliott s are also regularly hired by our members for use in club racing and casual sailing on the bay. Elliotts in Action

Sponsorship Exposure The Royal Yacht Club of Victoria has more than 900 members and 300 yachts on its register. The club has a long history of bay and ocean racing as well as long distance ocean cruising. In recent times, the Club has been in the forefront of larger keelboat racing and many of the famous yachts that have sailed on Port Phillip have been, or remain, on the Club s register. This provides enormous networking opportunities for our sponsors who can enjoy wide exposure of their business/ service to a wide cross section of the community. The Royals Training Center had over 600 enrolments last season. These were made up of adults, teenagers and juniors, with the juniors bringing one or two parents every time they visited the club. Through the Club s sailing and social activities, members meet new people from all walks of life and make many new friends amongst people who enjoy the camaraderie that is found amongst those who sail. Being a sponsor puts you at the forefront of all who sail and/ or visit Royals.
